    I've always wanted to buy this as a gift for my wife but she has the thought that all hair dryers work the same. I just decided to buy it when it went on sale and surprise her with it.     Purchased it for my wife’s Valentine’s Day gift. She loves it! It’s very quiet compared to standard hair dryers. Also she said it gave her hair more volume which I noticed too. Purchased the extended warranty in case. Great product! The power brick is kind of big but the unit itself is light and small. She loves it. I highly recommend for the woman who has everything. Also I am a tech nerd :)

    This is a great hairdryer. All the ones we used over the years last about a year or so and are as loud as a F1 fighter. The Dyson is very quiet. that is what we were ultimately going for, less decibels. With the defuser attachment on it is louder but with just the hairdryer alone for normal hair drying it is a 1/4 of the noise of a normal hair dryer. I would recommend this product

    With dyson technology my hair drying process has been cut in half. The deionization helps to keep frizz at a minimum.
