It leaves my hair feeling light and sleek. It also feels healthy. I don't smell my hair burning anymore. But the best thing I like is the time it in drying time! It used to take 20 minutes to dry my long hair. Now it takes less than 10 minutes. Yup! It's super humid in South Texas yet my hair is completely dry in 6 minutes. Buy it! Give it a try! There won't be a going back to other hair dryers.

I didn't think $399 was worth it for a hairdryer that should have cost $20 at Costco. I mean, a hairdryer is a hairdryer, right? It just blows hot air. Wrong! I didn't want to admit it, but this Dyson hairdryer is now our favorite machine. The motor is quiet, vibration-free, all you hear is air noise. It's fun to dry hair.

I am a licensed costmetologist and I have used a lot of different blow dryers. I have think, long hair that will take 45 mins to blow dry. With this one I can dry it within 15 mins. It dries evenly and when I want it straight I rarely have to use my straightener after. You will not be disappointed. I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Gives me some frizz when I use it on the high setting, but I use it on that setting anyways to quickly dry my hair. Overall, dries my long hair in about 25 mins and doesn’t tangle my hair. If you have long hair, you don’t have to worry about it getting tangled into the suction part like other blow dryers. However, for the price I wish this blow dryer was less heavy and had a less bulky cord. Plus, I have noticed some damage to my hair but that is to be expected when blow drying consistently.

Posted .Hello Chloe, this is Kelly with Dyson. The technology behind Dyson Supersonic is quite revolutionary and it is not like anything you might be used to. It can take some time to get used to the different settings, features and attachments Dyson supersonic provides during your drying session, not to mention your normal way or habit of drying your hair with traditional hair dryers.
While everyone is different, we certainly wouldn't expect hair to become fried or frizzy as a result of using Dyson Supersonic. The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer will feature intelligent heat control, which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. This helps prevent extreme heat damage and protects hair's natural shine. It also will feature negative ions to help prevent hair from becoming frizzy. One quick tip I would recommend, as outlined in our Dyson Supersonic support videos, will be using the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair, this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. Please also note that each heat and airflow setting is designed to provide varying outcomes depending on the style you have in mind for any particular drying session.
