Of course a consumer is going to pay more for a Dyson product and it does dry your hair faster than a conventional hair dryer but I found this hair dryer to be so heavy. I have long hair and it doesn't take too long for my arm to get sore or tired from drying my hair. It probably isn't possible to make it lighter but if Dyson could make it lighter, it would be fantastic. It is an Ionic hair dryer so it doesn't take as long to dry your hair and I believe it is easier on your hair as well - probably why I was willing to pay more for the hair dryer.

I orignially bought the airwarp, but wasn't willing to learn how to use it, so I got the hair dryer instead and I love it. It is way more powerful than the attachment for the airwarp although the airwarp comes with a different attachments. IF you want something that is strong and comes with a nice diffuser this is it.

Cut my dry time in half. So easy to use and lightweight.

One of the best hair-dryers available. It has several convenient attachments that help all kinds of hair-types. Be it my son's curled hair or my wife's long hair. Plus the cool mode is too good. And it has 3 heat modes that help regulate the temperature.

I was a little apprehensive on this purchase, it took me over a year to decide to purchase this because of the price, but I am I ever glad I did! I absolutely love it!! It makes getting ready in the morning so much easier and quicker, while smoothing my hair at the same time!! It cuts my drying time in half!! It was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made!!

This thing blows and better than the rest. Pricey for sure when comparing to old technology, but when paying for innovation, it gets that way. Still worth the purchase for efficient drying and accessories. Hair feels healthier too as I’m not air frying my hair with this.

Does not ruin hair. Over long term much better and it works so fast. Saves time.

This hair dryer is expensive but will probably be the last you will buy. Works very well and my hair dries rapidly. I am able to style my hair using the dryer. This is a challenge for me. You have to figure out how to store the heavy duty cord and that is not difficult to do if you use the heavy plug on top of the coiled cord.
