First of all, my hair is very fine and naturally curly and I had a hard time getting it as straight as I do with my other blow dryer. However, my nieces have a different hair type and loved this blow dryer. It worked well on their hair, and decreased their blow drying time. My other issue was that this blow dryer over heated twice. My hand was not covering the vent, so I'm not sure why this kept happening. Best Buy has such a great return policy, so I would still recommend trying this product. It may work out better for you.

Stunning to see, less so to use

I will say it looks terrific, but is over manufactured and made in a way that makes using it more difficult that it needs to be. I've always appreciated many other Dyson products I've purchased. The heavy, thick cord with humongous power plug probably doubles the weight of the product and makes it nearly impossible to handle well. As a hair dryer, it does blow well. Wish I could give it better rating, but I nearly went with 2 stars as no 1/2 ratings are possible here. --Ken

Worth the money!

I thought a hair dryer was a hair dryer and thought about taking it back. I'm sure glad I didn't! My hair is wavy and this dryer and a straightening brush makes my hair look super shiny and thick! I love this dryer and can tell you that it's worth the money!!
