If you have a soft thin hair, this dryer is perfect for you. However if you have thick wavy hair, it gets some time to get used to this one. Even so, I still find myself going back to my $20 Conair Ceramic ION dryer when I am in a hurry. YMMV.

I know the price is crazy high for a hair dryer, but if you are looking for the best, this would be the best. Even on high heat it is not burning hot like other hair dryers.

I need to use a couple more times to see if the results are worth what I paid for it. I think it cost too much but I was dying to try it . I am a retired hairstylist thought it might be fun to see the new technology. So far not very impressed! I will give it a another week.

The powerful motor is enveloped by a vibration reduction system and tuned to product one inaudible frequency. I'm happy to inform you that the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer is engineered for balance in the hand. It is also the only manufactured hair dryer with the motor in the handle. With the center of mass being close to the handle, it is less arduous when maneuvering the hair dryer from side-to-side as it is not top heavy. We're always keen to provide support if ever needed.

big,bulky and heavy

The dryer works great and dries the hair very quickly, but I never thought that the dryer was so big and bulky. The cord on it would handle the current necessary to operate my table saw. The product is made to withstand an epic event.

Dyson expensive but worth it

It truly makes a decider difference.

She told me that it is doubtful Dyson could do any better...but, BAM! Husband did good. She likes this one even better! The only issue is the fat power converter on the power cable.
