I have natural curly hair and also struggled with straightening. This blow dryer is lightweight and doesn’t cause heat damage and o my hair. Drying also takes 1/4 of time to complete. I’m upset that it took me so long to bite the bullet and purchase this sooner.

I love this beautiful hair dryer! It’s lightweight, but extremely powerful. I mainly use the curl diffuser, but when i want to blow out my curls, this dryer does the job within minutes. It’s pricey, but worth the investment.

Expensive, certainly, but worth it! It's very quiet, temperature control is excellent, and air speed control is excellent. It makes my straight hair have volume and it dries my hair so fast. The attachments click on magnetically and really help to straighten or style my hair. The only down side is if you don't have any attachments on it, the blast of air isn't good to have in your ears. Is it worth the money? Absolutely.. for me.

Loving my new hair dryer!! Great quality and awesome design. Hair dries much faster than with other products. Hair also has a healthier feel. Price is a little high, but hoping it lasts a long time. Still Love it!!

My wife had this hair dryer on her list of wants for a while now. I decided to go ahead and get it for her as an early Christmas present. My wife does her own hair (the whole roller set, flat iron and blow dry once a week) and so far says it works magnificently. She has thick Dominican hair and the dryer goes above and beyond what she expected it to do as intitially she worried about how much power it could actually put out being she knew no one else with this dryer yet. She’s able to iron out her hair on the lowest setting with ease and still has another two higher settings if she needed it! She loves all of the attachments that came with it as well. So far after a month, it’s still working awesome! Definitely reccommend!

My wife had been buying a new hairdryer almost yearly. They always broke. She got a Supersonic for Christmas and loves it! Long cord, easy to use, powerful, many good and useful attachments and a case for it to go into. She will no longer buy anything else.

This is the best hair dryer i’ve ever used. It’s so powerful but is still quieter than a lot of cheaper hair dryers. My hair is dry 5-10 minutes quicker than before. Expensive but worth it’s price

Yes, this product is expensive. If you don't have the money, then don't purchase it. Buy what you can afford. I have several dyson products. This works flawlessly like my other products. I have fine, straight Asian hair. I hated hair drying in the winter because it would take me a good 10 minutes. I'm always running late and one step I absolutely will skip is drying my hair even when it's 15 degrees out. I purchased the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer in White/Silver. When on the high setting, my hair drys within 3 minutes. It usually comes out more tangled than normal. That's not a problem for me because I brush my hair after anyway. I usually stick to the medium setting which takes about 5 minutes. With a cheap $20 hair dryer from Walmart, it would take 10-12 minutes. I'm the type of person who HATES spending time doing my hair. My hair is uncooperative and will absolutely not be styled (again, super smooth, fine, straight, Asian hair). I actually enjoy doing it now because I love picking up the beautiful, modern, small machine and my hair drying within 5 minutes. I think the engine in the handle makes a difference in how you handle the hair dryer and how close you can get to your hair. With other hair dryers, I have to keep my arms so far away because my hair would get snagged in the air intake. My hair is long so I'm so happy to not get several hairs ripped out on a daily basis from the air intake because it's at the bottom of the handle.

Love it. Works well and dries hair quickly I have short hair so I really don’t need all the attachments but good to have if I change my hair length

This is a very powerful hair dryer. It comes with all of the attachments that you could possibly want - some of the other brands do not. This dries my thick hair in about half the time. It even comes in a nice hardshell case.

It’s definitely a luxury item, not a must-have but I absolutely love how quite it is and it does dry your hair a bit faster than a standard hair dryer. The hair is less frizzy and healthier.

This was a Valentine's Day gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. The thing she commented on the most during the first week was how light it felt while using it, which is due to the motor being lower in the handle instead of up in the main body. This equates to better balance. It moves plenty of air, but is much quieter than the unit it replaced and she says the controls are easy to operate. The magnetic connection for the attachments is also first class. We like to travel and the size also makes this a great space saver. The only drawback for us, if there is one, is that it isn't dual voltage. Then again these days most hotels provide a blow dryer in the room so it wasn't a deal breaker.

Bought this for my wife - this is her review: This is a great hair dryer. What makes it different from others? Not only does it dry my (thick) hair faster, but it is gentler than my previous hairdryer (a Rusk). My old hairdryer could dry my hair just as fast but left my hair a good bit frizzier. For me, this alone makes the price (the only negative) worth it. The other great thing about the Dyson is the attachments. For me, the one that tames fly away hair is the most useful. If this is something that you struggle with, you’ll love the Dyson. As much as I love it, would I suggest you go broke to get one? No. But if this is in your budget, I think you’ll love it.

While it is a high value hair dryer, the cost is worth every penny for the feeling of my hair. I have coarse and thick hair, 3b to be exact. It takes me about three to four hours to dry my hair with a normal hair dryer. It took me an hour with taking breaks to dry my hair with this dryer. I was amazed at how soft my hair felt afterwards yet how dry it was. With just one pass of my straighter is able to get my hair slick. Best part it was not frizzy at all and has lasted until my next wash.

The Dyson is the best hair dryer I have ever had! It is easy to hold and operate. My hair is dried in record time! Also best of all there’s no frizz which is what I’ve always had to deal with. I highly recommend the Dyson hair dryer!

I love it! Now I look forward to drying my hair. It drys faster, straighter, and it gives it more shine. Also light weight and quieter than other blow dryers. I love it so much I bought one for a close friend who only dried her hair at salons for the professional look, now she gets the same results at home with this Dyson blow dryer. I had needed a new hair dryer for quite a while, but really didn’t know what I wanted. I knew right away that I wasn’t going to buy a cheap one that would end up breaking or frying my hair within a months time. So, I started doing research about the different products and the companies. The Dyson hair dryer continually showed up at the top of all the lists for quality and technology. I will admit, the $400 price tag caused me to stop dead in my tracks though. Once the initial shell shock wore off, I decided to go to a few stores and see the dryers in person. There were so many options, each one claiming to be better than the last. Each one had things I liked, but none of them checked enough boxes to convince me to buy. That is until I looked at the Dyson. It is truly lightweight and effortless to hold and manipulate in your hands. The diffuser and nozzles attach with magnets, so switching between them is super easy and convenient. The air filter is in the bottom of the handle and simply twists off for cleaning. It has 3 speed and 3 heat settings with an addition button for cool air (which actually blows cool air almost immediately). The heat settings are amazing, and I usually only use the two lowest settings, but the hottest setting is great for thicker haired girls. And my favorite part, is that it weighs less than 2lbs and it so much quieter than any other hair dryer ever! I can actually have a conversation with my husband while I’m drying my hair when needed. And finally, this incredible machine dries my hair in a fraction of the time and does so more efficiently. This was easily the best money I ever spent on myself, and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Dryer works really well, I use the diffuser attachment for my curly hair and my partner uses the comb for his beard. Not too loud and easy to use. For long hair I didn't have any issues with it getting sucked up where it sucks in air at the bottom of the handle, feels like the safest hair dryer I've ever used and not too heavy. Storage case is great. There was a deal so was able to save $100 on it. If you can spare the funds when it's on sale you'll never need another hairdryer again. First day I tested it out and went to the store I was stopped and asked where I just had my hair cut because it looked good and the girl wanted to go there. Highly recommend.

Although i bought this product about 2 yrs ago for my wife as a gift she is still enjoying it. The fact that is compact it makes simpler to carry around on vacations. Product doesnt tire her arm and hands out. Amd she spend less time having to deal with her hair. Versus your traditional hair dry and the attachment after a few vidoes on how to or what to. Decreases that wait time. Best investment ever.

Love the way this blowdrier leaves my hair. Honestly, dries and styles it in half the time and i love that there is no noise while using it and the attachments are great.
