It’s way quieter and seems like the air output is the right temperature and speed that it has to be to not damage your hair. The balance of weight to handle is also perfect where you don’t fatigue your arms or hands.

Only negative is this breaks down just as warranty expires. Recommend getting the extended warranty. Bought this for her B-day with extended warranty (her 2nd one).
