I had high expectations and this has definitely lived up to them. This has definitely helped my hair become healthier and longer. The nozzles are so easy to interchange as well!

But, having seen it in action now it really is a cut above other hair dryers. She loves it so it’s worth it.

Most pro dryers have an11’ cord the Dyson has a 9’ cord. 2) the power block one the cord makes navigation around salon chairs difficult 3) it’s not as hot as a pro hair dryer

She does have 2 complaints that are not deal breakers - the unit is much heavier than most and there is a large converter box on the power cord that gets in the way.

As for the blow drying part (coming from a blowout stylist perspective) it does not come even close to a professional blow dryer. My clients were disappointed in the results that we got compared to how my traditional professional blowdryer would do.

It was quite a pretty penny, but she is crazy over it. She says it does great on her hair, especially since she uses it after she washes her hair every day.

This blow dryer gets too hot even on the lowest heat setting. The round diffuser is flat. Curly girls need longer prongs in the diffuser to get under layers of hair gently. I tried different attachments included, but nothing made my hair happy. Definitely not worth the cost, and it wouldn't suit my needs even at a much lower cost. I had high hopes for this one, but I was disappointed.

Had none of that happen so far. SO and I use this daily. No issues so far.
