Not worth the hype

It takes me longer to dry my hair and it is heavy. I have a blow dryer that is 10x better and it was 1/3 of the price of this.

I'm happy to inform you that the Supersonic hair dryer is engineered for balance in the hand. It is also the only manufactured hair dryer with the motor in the handle. With the center of mass being close to the handle, it is less arduous when maneuvering the hair dryer from side-to-side as it is not top heavy. I would have returned it but given that Best Buy only gives you 14 days to return and I only wash my hair once a week. The first time I used it I felt that it dried my hair out worse than it already is. So I thought I would try it one more time and I got the same result. By this time it was too late to return, so now I'm stuck with this $400 blow dryer that makes my hair feel like straw. I would not recommend to anyone!

You might appreciate that the technology behind Dyson Supersonic is quite revolutionary and it is not like anything you might be used to. It can take some time to get used to the different settings, features and attachments Dyson supersonic provides during your drying session, not to mention your normal way or habit of drying your hair with traditional hair dryers. You have mentioned receiving some drying tips for using your Dyson Supersonic, so some of this may sound familiar. However, I would like to point out a few things to help ensure you are able to get the best out of your Dyson Supersonic hair dryer.
While everyone is different, we certainly wouldn't expect hair to become fried or frizzy as a result of using Dyson Supersonic. The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer will feature intelligent heat control, which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. This helps prevent extreme heat damage and protects hair's natural shine. It also will feature negative ions to help prevent hair from becoming frizzy. I'm happy to inform you that Dyson Supersonic hair dryers features 3 different attachments - a smoothing nozzle, styling concentrator, as well as a diffuser for use with achieving varying hair styles. Dyson Supersonic also features 4 precise heat control settings to also aid in drying, styling hair, as well as locking in your hair style. While the smoothing nozzle works well with working sections of your hair with a gentle airflow that can be used with just your hand, styling hair can be done with the styling concentrator as well as a brush.
