I think this is 100.00 too much. If it lasts 5 years I guess it would be worth it. But I am not there so we shall see how it turns out.

I'm sure the product works great. This was delivered to me used. The instructions were missing and the box had been torn open inside. It looked like it had been thrown in and there was hair on one of the pieces. Gross. I thought Best Buy would be better than this.

Love the color and the effect. A little pricey for sure.

Works well kinda makes curly hair frizzy sometimes tho.

This hair dyer is awesome, very powerful with great attachments and they are magnetic, such a great idea. It comes standard with 3 attachments, a large diffuser, small diffuser and directional attachment. Controls are smaller buttons but easy to operate and have LED indicators for low/med/high. The motor even on high setting is more of a hiss than the old fashion fan sound of a hair dryer. it is much more quiet, but has a noise to it. The air intake is on the base of the handle so you can't hold it at it's lowest point but that has not been a problem. My wife has fine hair and says it is great. She also believes for those with thick hair this would be an excellent choice for the air volume and heat ability. The ONLY con of this item is the electric cord, it is an industrial strength cord which is great because it will last but it outweighs the actual hairdryer and will drag it off the counter. Luckily they include a silicon mat to set the dryer on that fixes that problem. Although it is a heavy price tag, it is a quality piece of hardware that is very capable.

I loved this dryer when I purchased it. But it only last 11-12 months. It just suddenly stopped working. Dyson did not honor the warranty because the model number did not match their information. Very strange.

This was a great gift. Very pricey but for that special person that would never spend the money, this was a great gift!!

Received a used one in the mail today. Spending over $400 on a hair dryer to just get a dusty and scratched used item when I ordered and paid for a new one. C'mon Best Buy...

Dyson hare dryer. Well, it definitely dries rabbits, cept they don’t like it very much.

For the price I wouldn't purchase this hairdryer compared to a regularly priced hairdryer

First and foremost, this blow dyer died after semi-regular use in 90 days. I called Dyson, mailed it to them and they sent me a replacement. That one died in 30 days. So I've had two of these blow dyers go out after semi-daily use and now Dyson is fighting with me to send another one. They weren't dropped at all, the filters were cleaned out, etc. Aside from the fact that a $400 blow dryer isn't capable of lasting beyond 30 days, it's heavy relative to other blow dryers for someone with arthritis, the cord is obnoxiously thick (I know it draws a lot of power, but there are more efficient ways of wiring), and the power supply box is a joke. Most blow dryers require 2 prongs, this one requires 3 with a Dryer Machine thick cord.

I wanted to love it but just didn't fall in love. Very high tech quiet and streamlined

I love Dyson products but have to say not thrilled with this hairdryer. Not sure what it is about it yet but will keep using

Overall this was one of the most efficient, time saving, and legitimate hair dryers I have ever used! Pros: - Light weight - High power air flow - Multi temperatures so it won't burn your hair - Quick drying/ non tangling - Filter is at bottom of handle so hair won't get caught in it and burn off - Quiet fan (doesn't wake baby!) - Long cord so I'm not stuck in one place. - Tools are magnetic so they are easy to put on and remove without super strength and possibility of damaging it - Hair won't get caught in the fan portion of the dryer bc it is hollow (great for long hair) - My hair is definitely shinier and it doesn't feel burned or crispy after using it at highest temperature - I didn't over heat and it didn't over heat the room (thinking of summer with not a greasy AC or winter with heat turned on.) - I have a lot of very fine hair... if I blow dry it one day I usually have to wash and dry it the next day due to it looking oily (from heat/products) I haven't had to wash and dry my hair every day after using it.. it's significantly not as oily and flat. Cons - Cord is heavy - could be lighter with a way to extend its length - Hook that goes on the dryer to hang it doesn't fit very well or is too small to go around the dryer/handle - A bag would be great to hold all styling tools as there are 3.

I really like this dryer works good and luv the defuser but I do not think it dries my hair any faster

I only wish the handle was a bit longer. I keep covering the air intake with my hand in order not to hit a button.

Any regular dryer would do the same, but with way less cost.
