Posted .Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for your review of the Supersonic Hair Dryer. There are a few different things you can do to change the method in which you dry your hair. To begin with, the unit is designed with a type of thermal control which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair; this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. In light of this, it may be necessary to use the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When applying these tips to your everyday styling you should start to see a difference in the texture of your hair.

We’ve had dyson products for years never disappointed but we’ve replaced this dryer twice in a year had the third one for almost two years and just died on us again and it’s only my husband and I who use it I use maybe twice a week him almost daily but he’s just about bald!!! lol I have to say dyson also replaces all their products very easily without any fighting. I just don’t understand why these dryers keep dying on us. Does anyone else have this problem with the dyson dryer???? Thank you, Cindy & Bruce

While everyone is different, we certainly wouldn't expect hair to become fried or frizzy as a result of using Dyson Supersonic. The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer will feature intelligent heat control, which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. This helps prevent extreme heat damage and protects hair's natural shine. It also will feature negative ions to help prevent hair from becoming frizzy. I'm happy to inform you that Dyson Supersonic hair dryers features 3 different attachments - a smoothing nozzle, styling concentrator, as well as a diffuser for use with achieving varying hair styles. Dyson Supersonic also features 4 precise heat control settings to also aid in drying, styling hair, as well as locking in your hair style. The Supersonic is engineered and built to last when maintained as outlined in the user manual. It goes through a rigorous testing phase so that the machine can endure more than the average drop or bump.
