It does not make loud noise as the others. You can control the speed and temperature. I bought it on discount so quite satisfied with my purchase.

She was hesitant at first to use it, but after a few times her mind has been changed, not only does it blow dry hair! But it has blown her away! She says it’s the beat hair dryer she’s ever used!

Side note is that the attachments can get hot to the touch as well as the magnet on the dryer that holds the attachments. The storage box is nice, but heavy so not for travel. Love the color!

I have medium length hair and the drying time is faster compared to other products. Not totally quiet bit the sound it makes is way less compared with other brands. I’m excited to use explore and use the attachments that comes with it. Really expensive though but it comes with a 1 year warranty. Hopefully it last more than that though.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DON’T BOTHER, COSTLY MISTAKE This is a common problem, much bigger than what you read from reviews on their site & not worth risking the cash for it...... This was the biggest disappointment EVER. A year after the warranty expired, so did my hair dryer. After light use, maybe 3 times a week for 3 years, it started cutting out, being real positional until it doesn’t even switch on anymore. Now I am reading that this is common. Considering the price, this should last a lifetime. After being told my warranty was up, that was it. I was left with ZERO solutions and I am finding this really tough to accept. I would even pay for a repair but it’s just not an option. Once the rep realized I don’t have a warranty to be honored, he didn’t even offer troubleshooting solutions. Not that I wanted them, they had already been done, but he just couldn’t be bothered with it. This was all a week ago, and I’m still beside myself. I expected much more from this manufacturer, I thought that was part of what you pay for. I had recently started to look into one of their heater/fans. After 2 mediocre vacuums, hairdryer, and this experience, I will not buy another product from Dyson and I will make sure everyone I know will not make that mistake either.

I can confirm, however, when purchased from Dyson directly, or a Dyson authorized retailer, your new Supersonic would include a free 2-year guarantee. If your machine came with a one-year warranty, it's likely you had purchased a refurbished model. While we never expect any issues to occur with your hair dryer, we do make ourselves available 24 hours a day, via live chat and email, should help ever be needed. This product is better than most of the product in the market. Considering what you could get for $100 hair dryers, this doesn’t add much to your hair.
