I love the vibrant chic look of the hairdryer as well as the storage package it came in with all the attachments for the dryer. I have curly hair so I used the diffuser, and my hair turned out fabulous! I recommend downloading the Dyson app for dryer maintenance, videos on hairstyling, and how to use the attachments correctly.

fast and quiet for those with a lot of hair

It was expensive but i figured we would try it. well, there is no going back now. my wife has long, thick hair and this cut down on the time she spends drying her hair by like 75% with less damage at the same time. Can't imagine her ever using another hair dryer now. size is good as well to travel with.

Fast for “thick” hair

She has “thick” hair which takes a lot of time to dry. My wife’s first experience brought a big smile and a “You DID GOOD!” Now, three weeks into use I can say this expensive hair dryer IS worth it. It is quiet. It is very powerful. It works remarkably well. And it makes my spouse happy. There is nothing more I could ask for! Best gift!

She was hesitant about it when I brought it home to her but after using it, she really loves it. The benefits of this are really understated until you actually use this thing.

I was looking for something that was pretty lightweight and quiet, with good airspeeds and heat settings. The Dyson definitely has all those capabilities - the one thing I'm still trying to get used to (and is the reason for 4 stars vs. 5 stars) is the unexpected location of the cold shot button. I'm used to a trigger rather than where this is located. I'm hoping with continued use I will get used to how best to take advantage of this feature.
