The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer is well worth the money. It leaves my hair soft and silky without burning my scalp and drying out my hair. It is also light weight and easy to handle. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Dyson makes the best hair dryers. Period. Decided to buy the new version a year ago after 3 years of using another model. While this dryer is worthy of its name, I find it inferior to my previous model. I can't tell exactly what it is, but the dry is just not as quick and efficient. Not bad for your first Dyson, but loyal costumers may not feel it was worth the upgrade. Will be looking for a newer model hoping it indeed does feel like an upgrade.

I waited so long to purchase this blowdryer because it was out of my price point. But holy moley is this worth the price, it sure is. I don't think I can go back to using a regular blow dryer.

I love this hairdryer!! It dries my hair in a fraction of the time while still leaving it shiny and smooth! Not going to lie, the price intimidated me, but I went for it and boy did it pay off! So glad I tried it because now I’m hooked!

Purchased this as a birthday gift for my wife. Now she wonders how she’s lived without it for so long and now she’s expecting me to gift her the Dyson hair straightener.

This thing cost a bundle but my wife loves it, drys hair quickly with no friz or static. She loves the adjustable temp and air speed, the attachments are magnetic and are easy to replace. It straightens her hair quickly and very gentle on hair.

I’ve got far too little hair left to be a reliable reviewer of a hairdryer. So, this is all about my dear wife’s experience with the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer. We’ve all grown up with the expectation that a hairdryer needs to be very hot, noisy, heavy and awkward to use if it’s going to be effective. Dyson is out to prove that at least some of these traits can be overcome. We think they’ve got a winner on a number of counts. This is a product that oozes quality beginning with the packaging, to the feel in your hand, all the way to the appearance sitting on your countertop. It is as quiet as the best of the competition, but it doesn’t set a new standard . . . measuring 81dB on high in our small bathroom. This matches a highly regarded competing dryer, known for its low noise levels, that we’ve used for a few months. It’s very easy to use with nifty attachments that snap on with a strong magnetic pull in any orientation. It’s colorful, with a unique look, and great balance in the hand. It’s weight seems fairly typical, but it is quite comfortable because it’s concentrated in a device that has practically no weight extending horizontally. Control buttons are conveniently placed and include temperature and speed settings that make sense, even if they are somewhat smaller than on some competitiors. What about the hair drying? This is a great dryer by every subjective measure. It does seem to employ lower heat with easily swapped attachments likely resulting in less hair damage. My wife’s shoulder length, medium coarse, thick hair was dried quickly with a smooth finish. Frizz was minimized. But, it’s not magically modifying hair quality . . . at least to our touch and sight. And, this all comes at a high price. if you call yourself a strict value shopper, you may have to turn in your credentials if you are not already looking elsewhere. On the other hand, if you can afford the best of modern design and an extra effort at unique engineering, you will not be disappointed. We love our Dyson quite a bit but we also acknowledge that this is quite an indulgence for a hair dryer.

Spent all day trying to get this dryer, drove miles to get it and spent my LAST! Ordered it online, went to one Best Buy location and Best Buy stated it was sold! So, I had to drive to another location. Then get home to find out it doesn’t work! Lights continue to blink red! This is DAY ONE! Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! I needed a dryer badly and now Im screwed! Looked it up and everyone is having the same issues. Will return this first thing tomorrow and just stick to the Revir!

My first Dyson blow dryer went out and I immediately ordered a new the same day! This thing is amazing and will never use another blow dryer! It has decreased my drying time, does not damage my hair, and not loud!

I got this for Mother's Day would have never purchased it for myself because of the price. After using it I will never go back to a $35 hair dryer again. This drys my hair faster and is much more quieter they any hair dryer I have had befor. If His was to break I definitely would buy another.

I love this hairdryer! Not only is it quiet but it dries my hair in a fraction of the time. It also leaves my hair so much more manageable after drying. And kudos to Best Buy. Not only did they have the Best Buy but they delivered in a timely fashion.

This item was a birthday gift! I have very thick hair that can usually handle a lot. Between dying my hair frequently, blow drying 2-3 times a week, hot ironing my hair almost every day, and using chemicals/products daily...my hair takes a beating. I try to use good products such as masks, leave-ins, treatments, etc. to keep my hair somewhat healthy. Still, my hair takes a beating. This hair dryer has helped to make my hair healthier...which is great! It is one of the first dryers that I have used where my hair does not let off steam as I am drying it, even at the hottest setting. That is saying a lot considering most, if not all dryers have always damaged my hair. This one, so far, is the exception. With all of that being said...is it worth the money? I mean, it is $400!! (That is not including the potential warranty you might buy for it!) It is expensive! While I absolutely LOVE this product, I do not know if the price makes it worth it. IF the price is not that big of a deal for you...I say YES YES YES this product is great...spend your money and get it. If the price makes you nervous...I'd say, really think about it before you take the dive. I was lucky to get this item as a gift...so the price did not matter. However, I am not sure I'd be willing to throw down $400 plus some on this product. But, knowing now how great it is...it would be hard! lol

My girlfriend says "Very blowy, very good" Excellent build quality for the blow dryer, accessories, and case. It's definitely a luxury item, but it's not all show as it's very functional.

This dryer is amazing, I was questionable at first, but that all went away after the first few uses. The heat was not damaging my hair, the dry time was quicker and less frizzy than with my regular dryer I had sworn by for years. I’m so happy I made the purchase.

This one was a gift. But my wife has the same one and that's why our relative wanted one, too. Almost took a star off because I still feel they're way over-priced. But wife loves it and it saves her time so worth it.
