I have curly hair that takes forever to dry and this sucker makes my life so much easier. My hair dries so much faster. The fly away attachment also helps me with my roots when I straighten my hair. Such a big difference.

My hair is prone to frizziness, especially with the humidity of the South. Hair styling products have never managed the frizziness well enough. This hair dryer does! I dry my hair on the lowest setting and my hair is smooth and shiny. The only product I use is macadamia oil. I don’t even have to use a flat iron anymore. I highly recommend this hair dryer.

It dries hair quickly using the second heat setting and first fan setting. The heat is constant, never turning on and off. The attachments work great; especially the diffuser and the fly away smoother. It's costly, but I think it's going to be the last hair dryer I ever need to buy!

Not a Must for Super Curly Hair (3C/4A hair)

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the dryer so I could see how it would perform on super curly hair (3C/4A curls), and I find it easier to let my hair air dry than to diffuse it. Whenever I have used the diffuser, it appears to make my hair more frizzy and dull. I also tested out a blowout, and my hair came out pretty well, but my arms were still tired from holding the dryer, so I don't feel like it's much lighter than the other dryers that I have used in the past. In other words, I have not found the dryer to be worth the considerable price tag for my curly type.

Conventional hair dryers often have large motors, and because of their size they have to be put in the head of the machine. As a result, they can be bulky, and they can blast air at extreme temperatures, all with the risk of hair being sucked into the filter and being trapped. This traditional hair dryer design has not advanced in more than 60 years. Dyson engineers set out to rethink this design. With regard to your specific hair type, we have tested the Supersonic on multiple hair types. With regard to having your hair feel frizzy after use with the diffuser, you may wish to experiment with how much product you use, pre-style, as this can affect the hair texture with the use of the Supersonic. Almost too powerful

I love how the weight of the dryer is in the handle it’s much more comfortable to hold and the nozzle doesn’t get hot like traditional dryers. I find it hard to get most of my hair dry because I try to all over dry my hair then go back and section to completely get my hair dry because it is so thick, with how powerful the stream of air is without a nozzle my hair gets whipped around and tangled up. My hair does feel soft and less frizzy compared to using other high end hair dryers but not enough to justify spending $150+ for this dryer.

If I could change one thing it would be the chord. It is a bit heavy and tends to pull down.
