To be honest, not sure if I would use this if I had straight hair. But for a curly haired gal, this dryer has cut my drying time in 1/2! Wish the diffuser was deeper though…

The dryer is very efficient and much quieter than a traditional dryer.

I have colored blond hair and this keeps it from getting fried. Hair is soft and silky...Have never used the paddle brush...Make sure you clean the filter...I ordered a bristle brush to clean it...

I purchased this as a Mother's Day gift & my wife's first response was that she didn't need a $400 hair dryer. After using it her opinion started to change though. She loves it, & although there is still the occasional "we should take this back" she is using it every day & said "this is the most luxurious thing I've ever owned." Is it worth $400? Probably not. However, it was a nice Mother's Day gift & gilt aside, she loves it.

The blow dryer really does reduce frizz and make your hair silky smooth. I have very long hair that usually takes forever to dry and my new Dyson dries it in half the usual time.

Truly a great product. I'd been skeptical of Dyson products for years, given the price, and was never sure if they delivered a result that was good enough to warrant the cost. Those concerns were overcome easily with this. The quality of the Supersonic is top-notch. The airflow is amazing, the swappable tools are very easy to change out and do an incredible job at their tasks. I can get salon-quality blow-drys using this. Perhaps the best part is that the airflow is pulled up from the base of the handle, not the back of the head. This means that getting your hair snagged in the fan is nearly impossible. I love the Supersonic!

The best hair dryer ever! Usually my hair would take forever to dry and it was such a hassle. This stain has cut my drying time significantly. I can dry my hair in under 10 minutes!

This hair dryer is perfect. It is powerful, yet has variable settings to control heat and force. I love it. The price is high, I feel it should carry more than a 2 year warranty.

Bought it as a gift and it was an awesome success. The hair drying experience is feels meaningfully better but it may depend on what this is replacing. The attachments are quite useful unlike others. The carry case is really handy and the lack of zipper is a plus.. on the negative side, this feels bulky both on the weight and size..

Bought this for wife as a present she’s very picky about her hair she absolutely loved it and heat wasn’t overwhelming or damaging to hair little expensive but worth it

My wife has been using the Dyson hair dryer for several weeks. Hair drying experience is very different from her previous dryers. Wind pattern and temperature are very well controlled, so her hair stays organized and dryer time is now about half. It's a bit too heavy, but maybe the grip is too short. She tends to grab the air intake at the grip bottom. The $400 price tag is a bit too much for a hair dryer. $200-250 seems reasonable.

Product is Amazing! Doesn’t burn and it does not take long to dry my hair flat so I don’t have to use a flat iron with it. Love it! Worth every penny .... Definitely recommend!!!!
