Hair is fabulous after, feels softer and shinier than ever. I am very pleased with it, just not the price tag. But I do love Dyson and you sure do get what you pay for. My hair was terrible, never put any product and I always let my hair air dry. It was always frizzy and I thought going all natural dry was better. Dyson sets the bar and changed my hair. I love it!

Out of the box, the on switch would not stay on. We returned it, which was a very easy process (great employees at Best Buy), and when she got the new one, the defuser was broken so now we have to deal with that. With the price of this hair dryer, you would think Dyson would take a little more care in what they send out.

No complaints from her and she used to be a hair stylist. She had a salon-grade hair dryer and this blows it out of the water. Easy to handle, loves the magnetic attachments, and great heat and blower settings. Lots of her old stylist friends are jealous! If you can justify the price, you won't be disappointed! She was even able to use the diffuser attachment to put curls in her shorter straight hair, something she couldn't do before!

But it has significantly cut down on the time it takes to dry my family’s hair. Great for drying my kids hair

Posted .Hello Beylen, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you're not having a 5-Star experience with your Dyson Supersonic hair dryer. We wouldn't expect to hear that the dryer left your hair feeling coarse or limp. There are a few different things you can do to change the method in which you dry your hair. To begin with the unit is designed with a type of thermal control which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair; this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. In light of this, it may be necessary to use the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When applying these tips to your everyday styling you should start to see a difference in the texture of your hair.
