I have been hearing a lot of good things about this hair dryer. I hesitated for a long time since it's very pricey. Bought it after much thought and am glad I did. It cut my hair drying time in half, is lightweight and leaves my hair feeling and looking healthy. Cuts down on the frizz too. I love the attechments though I have to admit I only use the smoothing fly away attachment and the gentle air attachment most of the time. I am not very good about fixing my hair and usually just wear my hair in a bun or honey tail. Since purchasing this hair dryer, I have been wearing my hair down with confidence.

Amazing dryer and attachments. Runs quiet, easy to hold and operate. The cord is quite heavy and a bit unwieldy - my experience has been that it is heavy enough that if the cord is not fully supported the plug won't stay in the electrical outlet. Certainly not a dealbreaker, but might take a little engineering depending on one's outlet location. Also, really severe off-gassing - so much so that I can not store it in a bathroom cabinet without the room smelling like chemicals. It lives in the garage for now, but hopefully that wears off eventually. Despite the cons, very pleased with this purchase and how it works with my hair.

This was a Valentine's Day gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. The thing she commented on the most during the first week was how light it felt while using it, which is due to the motor being lower in the handle instead of up in the main body. This equates to better balance. It moves plenty of air, but is much quieter than the unit it replaced and she says the controls are easy to operate. The magnetic connection for the attachments is also first class. We like to travel and the size also makes this a great space saver. The only drawback for us, if there is one, is that it isn't dual voltage. Then again these days most hotels provide a blow dryer in the room so it wasn't a deal breaker.

The Dyson is the best hair dryer I have ever had! It is easy to hold and operate. My hair is dried in record time! Also best of all there’s no frizz which is what I’ve always had to deal with. I highly recommend the Dyson hair dryer!

Love the way this blowdrier leaves my hair. Honestly, dries and styles it in half the time and i love that there is no noise while using it and the attachments are great.

Pros -Cut time due to technology -Hair feels softer -No visible damage -Magentic attachments -Didn't have overheating -Light weight Pros- -Wish there were more attachments -High pitch when close to ear -Wish it had a case -High priced I really debated for some time on this purchase, biggest regret so far was not doing it sooner. While it is a high value hair dryer, the cost is worth every penny for the feeling of my hair. I have coarse and thick hair, 3b to be exact. It takes me about three to four hours to dry my hair with a normal hair dryer. It took me an hour with taking breaks to dry my hair with this dryer. I was amazed at how soft my hair felt afterwards yet how dry it was. With just one pass of my straighter is able to get my hair slick. Best part it was not frizzy at all and has lasted until my next wash.

I love it! Now I look forward to drying my hair. It drys faster, straighter, and it gives it more shine. Also light weight and quieter than other blow dryers. I love it so much I bought one for a close friend who only dried her hair at salons for the professional look, now she gets the same results at home with this Dyson blow dryer. Definitely worth the money!!!

This hair dryer has won my heart. I was very skeptical at first about the fly away attachement, but it works like magic! The whole unit is very light, easy to use, and clearly very high quality.

I feel like this blow dryer is amazing the attachments to smooth out your hair is the best it works incredibly well. As long as you clean out your vent and keep that clean this thing's going to last forever! To me it's worth every penny. It dries your hair faster than a normal blow dryer as well!

I had needed a new hair dryer for quite a while, but really didn’t know what I wanted. I knew right away that I wasn’t going to buy a cheap one that would end up breaking or frying my hair within a months time. So, I started doing research about the different products and the companies. The Dyson hair dryer continually showed up at the top of all the lists for quality and technology. I will admit, the $400 price tag caused me to stop dead in my tracks though. Once the initial shell shock wore off, I decided to go to a few stores and see the dryers in person. There were so many options, each one claiming to be better than the last. Each one had things I liked, but none of them checked enough boxes to convince me to buy. That is until I looked at the Dyson. It is truly lightweight and effortless to hold and manipulate in your hands. The diffuser and nozzles attach with magnets, so switching between them is super easy and convenient. The air filter is in the bottom of the handle and simply twists off for cleaning. It has 3 speed and 3 heat settings with an addition button for cool air (which actually blows cool air almost immediately). The heat settings are amazing, and I usually only use the two lowest settings, but the hottest setting is great for thicker haired girls. And my favorite part, is that it weighs less than 2lbs and it so much quieter than any other hair dryer ever! I can actually have a conversation with my husband while I’m drying my hair when needed. And finally, this incredible machine dries my hair in a fraction of the time and does so more efficiently. This was easily the best money I ever spent on myself, and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

The perfect replacement for my older noisy hairdryer. The Ultra blue/Bush pink is a lovely combination. With a little help of the Dyson videos for guidance, I am able to dry and style my fine shoulder length hair almost as well as my hair stylist, who also uses the Dyson hairdryer in her hair salon. My hair is really silky and shiny after I use my Dyson and holds the style well. The convenience of the magnetic feature makes changing the attachments a snap. The lower noise volume is the extra bonus. I love my Dyson.

This a great product. It performs beautifully and for someone who dries her hair at least 4x a week, I really see a difference in ease and more importantly less damage. The reason it is not 5-star is that it stopped working at 23 months--2 weeks before the warranty expired. Best Buy was great. They took the return and I got full credit. I had to pay $45 for the price difference on the new model, but they gave me the full 24-month warranty at no charge. I would say worth the price but include the cost of extending your warranty. It’s a great product but at this price you need to factor in the risk.

I am in love with this product! I NEVER had the patience to blow dry my hair but the Dyson dries it so quickly! It’s light and easy to use and looks so sleek!
