High speed dryer! Amazing to use! Very light and handy since you don’t need a outlet for a the plug

Even with using low heat and low power my fine limp wavy hair dries quickly and styles nicely. It’s been years since being able to get style like this. Tried several other hair dryers but none compare with the Dyson and their ease of the control buttons. Plus when I turn it off and get the next section ready, the Dyson settings stay where I had them when I touch the button back on. Easy and quick without over heating and over drying.

This hair dryer really blows, literally. Hair dries very fast. Without any attachments it blows stronger than any hair dryer I’ve ever had. We use the smoothing nozzle the most and it still has a strong flow. The styling concentrator it is halfway between the smoothing nozzle and no attachment. Cleaning the filter is very easy. It is expensive, but we decided to treat ourselves this time. You can go through a lifetime of blow dryers for the cost on this one alone. Overall, the dryer feels very solid. It dries our hair faster than any hair dryer We’ve ever had, I’d say well under 2 minutes with medium (not shoulder) length hair for my wife who styles a bit. For me, it takes less than a minute, normal men’s cut no special styling (right now it’s about 4 inches long on the sides and 5 inches long on top) after a haircut, maybe 30 seconds tops. The cord is plenty long and is round, not flat, so it doesn’t get those weird curls in the cord. The dryer is comfortable to hold. The design is easier to maneuver than the longer pistol barrel shaped dryers so you can get it really close to your head. It generates plenty of heat at the middle and highest settings. We have it set at the middle setting which is plenty for normal drying. There are a few issues. It is a bit heavy. Easily the heaviest hair dryer we’ve ever had. The filter in the lower handle isn’t ideal. When I just grab the dryer, my hand just naturally covers part of the filter and I have to adjust my hand (move it up) accordingly. My wife doesn’t have this problem with her smaller hands. The on/off switch is small and not really easy to use with one hand. I normally have to use my other hand to turn it on or off. Only two real improvements needed. Wish it was a bit lighter in weight and had a larger on/off switch. Do we regret the purchase? No, definitely not. I believe we got what we paid for and believe it will last until we decide to replace it, not because of any failure. It was a luxury purchase and it does the job better than any blow dryer we’ve had it the past. Value wise, I’d say it is a bit overpriced, but I believe it is the best blow dryer available.

The Dyson hair dryer is pretty amazing, a bit expensive, but the bit downside, IMO - is that this thing doesn't have dual-voltage, which means you can't easily use it overseas (you can't just slap a converter on it - you need the RIGHT transformer)... kinda ridiculous at this price.

Purchased this hair dryer for my wife a few months after I purchased an Air Wrap. She was so crazy over the Air Wrap I doubled up and bought this and she loves this model, as well. Why two hair dryers? I have no idea; I'm bald.

My hair dries much faster and more straight. The sound is soothing. It's lightweight. I highly recommend!

It dried my hair very fast and it is very easy to work with

This was a gift for my girlfriend. She has long, thick, black hair. Before this purchase she would have to towel dry her hair then blow dry and finally straighten. With this, she towel drys and then blows and straightens at the same time. Not only does it save her time, but her hair is so silky smooth after use. By far this is the best purchase I have made for her. It is well worth the money.

Highly recommend. Cuts drying time and leaves hair healthy compared to most other dryers. Very expensive but an excellent long term investment.

My wife used to have a daily hair-drying saga that lasted 30 minutes – complaints and all. I tried playing the hero by taking over the hair-drying duties, but it only switched the source of the complaints. Enter Dyson, the true superhero, cutting drying time in half. We've reclaimed 15 minutes of sanity each evening, and now we have 15 extra minutes to spend doing other things...Happy wife, happy life.

Fast, light and powerful. Much quieter than cheap blow driers. Takes some time to adjust from a normal drier with a barrel.

I love my Dyson. I’ve wanted one for years but thought too pricey. Worth the price. Dries my hair in half the time with no damage. I love it.
