The fastest hair dryer!

I have medium long hair and I was done in less than half the time it usually takes to dry my hair. This is a game changer!

I love that it’s better for your hair and doesn’t exceed a certain temperature to protect and style. The price kept me from getting it sooner, but I would say it’s worth it!

It has all different settings. But the best part is that it cut the time it takes me to dry my hair by less than half the amount of time!!! Worth every penny!!!

The design is nice, great quality, and she loves the power it has to dry her hair. Switching between hot and cool mode is easy. This item is expensive however we are pleased with the quality.

She loves it and it does make her hair look less frizzy. Price is pretty steep but if you want a hair drier that works quickly and doesn't frizz your hair this is supposed to be the best.

However, though it works fine for my short hair (but so does any $100-$200 good hair dryer), for my wife - even when using a heat protectant - it over-dries the hair. Beware of potential hair damage. Returned.

Posted .Hi Dakota, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for your review of the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer. I'm happy to hear how light weight, and quiet you found this dryer to be, in your use. Dyson Supersonic was designed with a type of thermal control which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. When the dryer is held away from your head, the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair; this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. In light of this, it may be necessary to use the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or a roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When applying these tips to your everyday styling you should start to see a difference in the texture of your hair.

Dyson supersonic hair dryer

This Dyson did not disappoint. The thought of a $400 hair dryer seemed ludicrous but when BB had a members sale for $319 I treated myself to one. My daughter and I have waist length hair and the results were immediate. No baked frizzies and split ends. Our hair was smooth, shiny, and static free. This dryer is so quiet you can have a conversation while drying your hair. The cooling feature is as cool as our Dyson fan! This is a product that is as artfully beautiful as all the other Dyson products and considering it’s used on a daily basis it’s only about $1 a day for the first year. Our hair has never looked better and YES, we’re worth it!!!
