Purchased this as a birthday gift for my wife. Now she wonders how she’s lived without it for so long and now she’s expecting me to gift her the Dyson hair straightener.

Jury is still out. Not sure it's worth the high price tag. Seems to dry my hair about he same time as my old $30 hairdryer from Marshalls. I purchased this one because of the reviews/claims that it doesn't damage your hair and dries in less time. After I am done using the Dyson, my hair feels like straw. Never had that happen before. Admittedly, I am still working out the best air speed and temp for my hair. It's quiet, but it's also heavier than any hair dryer I've had in the past. Overall it's an ok product, but knowing what I know now I wouldn't buy it again. Also, for reference I have mid back length hair.

I have thick, curly hair, and this product has been a miracle! It dries my hair super fast, but it does not get too hot or damage my hair. The smoothing attachment does a great job smoothing, and I no longer have to use a straightening iron. I highly recommend this product. It is expensive, but it is worth the price!

Worth every single penny. Cuts drying time by more than half; is so quiet yet powerful & left my hair feeling healthier than I can remember. It comes efficiently packaged with magnetic attachments that transformed my morning routine into a breeze!

I really like this and am enjoying using it. I use it daily and have compared it the many other blow dryers I have had in the past. It is faster and quieter and smooths out the hair faster. The hair seems shinier and in better condition.

Dries hair quickly with less frizz. I was able to dry my daughter's hair that is naturally curly and it turned out beautiful with no frizz. The only thing I do not like about the hair dryer is the cord which is very heavy and will bang up against the counter if I am not careful.

This was purchased as a gift so I had to get feedback to give feedback! Amazingly different to older style hairdryers, this wonder of modern science dries hair quickly, is light to use, has perfect temperature settings. Wow! But what a price! I suppose you get what you pay for.

Purchased this for my Wife and little girls. We have one already so this makes this 2 Dyson Supersonics. They fight over it all the time, so I had to go get one just for the girls. Now with 2 they can share. This Hair Dryer is spectacular, as a man Im amazed on how it leaves my girls hair looking. After using this thing their hair has gotten healthier. I dont know what kind of Alien Technology they put in it but it works wonders on their beautiful locks. They dont have anymore damaged hair due to split ends or thin strands. They have shiny, longer, thicker, healthier, silky and strong hair. I swear this hair dryer is way worth what they are asking. A must buy, don't forget to buy the warranty. I believe I paid just $70 for the 2 year GSP-RP. No questions asked replacement plan. Trust me it's too long to explain their terms and conditions but it is worth it for 2 years.

I have no hair... at least on my head, so this wasn’t for me! But... my girlfriend loves it, as it was an early Christmas present for her. She says it dries her hair faster and she loves the magnetic attachments. It’s not cheap but it feels very well made and Dyson's 2 year warranty adds some reassurance.

We've had a few Dyson vacuums over the years, that get used and abused, and they really are worth their cost. When I found out that they make a hair dryer, I wanted to give it a try, but the cost seemed ridiculous... for a hair dryer. I went to get a hair cut and my stylist pulled out her new Dyson hair dryer. I was impressed enough to actually purchase one, especially since I had some Best Buy Reward Points. My honey and I have both used it and both agree that it IS impressive. We both notice a difference in how it dries our hair... and how quickly. I have wavy hair so I use the diffuser and I am so happy how it makes my waves look defined and not frizzy. The only thing that I do NOT like about the dryer is the power cord. It's thick, somewhat stiff and has a good-size power box built into it. It makes handling the dryer a bit awkward to work with and it makes storing it, sort of difficult. Despite this, it is still an awesome hair dryer and I'm learning to get use to the power cord.

I was hesitant due to price, however, after watching many reviews, I decided to try it. No regrets! I love this hairdryer! And I have a no fuss routine. Shower, dry, out the door. The smoothing attachment works wonders! I would totally recommend.

I have wanted a Dyson hair dryer since one was used at a hair salon appointment. It is super fast at drying even thick hair and is less damaging to my hair than my previous hair dryer. Extremely high quality.

Not only does this dry my hair fast, the ions soften my hair too making it more manageable. Definitely worth the money.

I waited so long to purchase this blowdryer because it was out of my price point. But holy moley is this worth the price, it sure is. I don't think I can go back to using a regular blow dryer.

The technology behind this dryer is amazing and because of that this hair dryer is very light. I am a cosmetologist and use this everyday so it really helps ease my arms. It dries long hair even faster than my previous professional dryer and does a better job leaving the hair softer. Highly recommend despite the high price tag.

Has wonderful options coming from the heating, cooling, and fan speed as well. The attachments range is great as well!

Bought this as a gift to my wife... she absolutely loves it, which makes me love it even more. Happy wife, happy life!

This is probably the best dryer I've ever used. Dries your hair super quick but does slightly tangle it in the process.
