It's super fast at drying and not crazy loud. In fact, to test the loudness I had it on and went to the next room and couldn't hear a thing! It's THAT quiet. Pretty cool. No funky hair dryer smell either. I get it, $400 is serious money to throw down for a hair dryer - but if you're up for not having as much money in your bank account, you won't be disappointed by dropping $400 for this gem of a purchase.

Hair is fabulous after, feels softer and shinier than ever. I am very pleased with it, just not the price tag. But I do love Dyson and you sure do get what you pay for. My hair was terrible, never put any product and I always let my hair air dry. It was always frizzy and I thought going all natural dry was better. Dyson sets the bar and changed my hair. I love it!

Posted .Hello Beylen, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you're not having a 5-Star experience with your Dyson Supersonic hair dryer. We wouldn't expect to hear that the dryer left your hair feeling coarse or limp. There are a few different things you can do to change the method in which you dry your hair. To begin with the unit is designed with a type of thermal control which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair; this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. In light of this, it may be necessary to use the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When applying these tips to your everyday styling you should start to see a difference in the texture of your hair.
