So, I came prepared to spend the $400 on this item. I used this product for about 3 weeks and noticed my hair was breaking off, and my wash and go’s were lasting but for 3 days, and was a hot frizzy mess. Prior to this dryer my curly hair would last for 5-6 days or even longer and I was confused why I never had one good wash day with the Dyson! So, I decided to give my old dryer a shot (babylissPRO Titanium Portofino an amazing dryer idk why I ever switched in the first place). My old dryer didn’t leave me with frizz, dry, brittle hair. No matter how much product I put in, or how much gel it was just awful! So if you have curly hair just be cautious of this please. I know it’s a luxury item, but it costs wayyyy to much for it to perform this badly. There are other great dryers out there.

There are a few different things you can do to change the method in which you dry your hair. To begin with the unit is designed with a type of thermal control which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair; this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. In light of this, it may be necessary to use the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When applying these tips to your everyday styling you should start to see a difference in the texture of your hair. It reminds me of the Dyson branded hand dryers that you find in public restrooms. It is surprisingly very powerful and for that amount of power it is very quiet and compact. My wife loves her new hairdryer, it dries her hair in less time than her old one and because of its lightweight design is much easier for her to hold for a long period of time. She used to not always dry her hair due to the amount of time it would take but now she's drying her hair much more frequently and the end result looks great! I have to admit that I've never spent anywhere close to what this hair dryer costs. However, I believe the cost is justified and certainly don't mind spending extra money for something if it is proven to be worth it. As an extra piece of mind for your investment it does comes with a two-year warranty on parts and labor. The only downside we've really found is the design of the power cord. It is very thick and therefore you can't really just stuff this thing into a bathroom drawer or wrap it around the dryer. You need room to store the cord itself. Pros: - Powerful - Compact - Lightweight - Relatively Quiet - Attachments - 2 year warranty Cons: - Thick and rigid power cord Overall, this is a great appliance for almost anyone. Our kids have even used it to dry themselves after getting out of the bathtub!

Well really my wife’s expectations. I bought as a Mother’s Day gift and she said this was the best Mother’s Day gift she had ever received. This hair dryer works wonders and is worth the cost.
