It isn’t really that special though, when it comes to function, it dryers my hair pretty similar to my much cheaper blow dryer. Would only recommend if you have money to spend.

I have really long hair I thought I would be able to blow dry my hair much faster so I could get out of the house faster. Not true I have a $20 blow dryer that works just the same. This is just a bunch of hot air and once I tried it once I wanted to return it and they told me I could night so I was out $425 plus tax for a piece of crap blow dryer. Yeah it blows Is heavy and it sits in the cabinet under my sink. Live and learn and learn

It is more gentle to my color treated hair but also takes longer to dry than a regular professional style hairdryer would on my thick locks. I really expected a faster dry time based on reviews. So it is a trade off for me, the gentler dry of the Dyson vs a faster dry of a traditional dryer. It is smaller in size but quite hefty to hold. I believe a significant portion of the extra weight can be attributed to the obnoxious cord. No other electronic device I own has such a heavy bulky cord.

Better than all previous hair dryers

Also, issue with fly away hair from static electricity, but using a shot of static guard on brushes solves that. Overall, i really think it was a good purchase.
