Given the price, you would think you could only fall in love with it because it would be so wonderful. But Dyson has some serious design flaws on this model. Do the hairdryer it’s self is light, the cord is extremely heavy adding weight that is unnecessary to a hairdryer. The design of the handle on the hairdryer is slick and therefore, slippery. It tends to slide down through the hand because of the weight of the cord. Again on the handle design, the controls are poorly placed. The Coldshot is located on the back of the handle. Opposite where it should be given the placement of a thumb holding a hairdryer. Also on the handle it’s just street. There are no notches or bins for finger placement to help sturdy the hairdryer. I have tried this on several different settings to reduce the amount of air blowing at one time. I’ve also tried the included attachments to avoid the nodding to happen because of the high speed airflow. Overall, I am unimpressed with this hairdryer. As much as Dyson has created intelligent design, and solved basic issues with other products, they missed the mark on this hairdryer.
