However, I saw no difference compared to my babyliss blow dryer. Overall it’s still a great blow dryer but definitely not worth it when I saw no difference compared to my $80 blow dryer.

$400 dryer that quits after 2 years

I would have kept it...but the attachments magnetically stick to the dryer and this design didn't work for me the way I use a diffuser. It's a heavy dryer but with the way it's designed, you don't feel it once you're using it.

I have naturally curly, frizzy hair and I do not see a difference in using this hairdryer compared to the $20 hairdryer at the drugstore... except the price tag. I thought this dryer would reduce the drying time, and reduce frizzyness. Wrong on both issues! Took same amount of time to dry, and caused frizzles. She also took it to her hair dresser who tried it and also didn't think it was worth the money.

Dyson products are designed specifically for the countries in which they are made for and sold in, and machines manufactured for the United States are designed solely for 110-120v electricity. It is because of this fact that we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed. However, we do not recommend using a converter, as the unit will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson product.

I've never had any hairdryer over $20 so anything I could compare this to isn't even in the same ballpark. The Dyson hairdryer is incredibly quiet for a hairdryer. This Dyson is so much quieter than a normal hairdryer that you can actually have a conversation while it's on. For how quiet the hairdryer is it has some nice power behind it. The dryer has three speed settings and three heat settings along with a button that will turn the heat off on demand. The dryer comes with three attachments; two funnel type things and a defuser. All attach magnetically and stay on pretty well. Overall this is a great hairdryer and if you are in the market for a top of the line hairdryer, really give this one a look.
