First of all, it works fabulously!! The interchangeable magnetic attachments are awesome and super easy to swap out. No let down on airflow, and much less noisy than a standard hair dryer. There is one reason I rated at 4 stars...The airflow intake is at the bottom of the handle, so you have to hold the middle or you will block the intake and slow down the airflow. Overall, it looks and works great, is well built, and yes...it's a conversation piece!

I've always been intrigued by Dyson's designs, but always discouraged about their prices. I'm sure I'm not the only one, but I have to say that this hair dryer is amazing. It's a really nice looking device that performs better than most of the other hair dryers that I've used in the past. It comes with a fairly lengthy cord that helps if you are a multitasker if you're stuck having to do more than just your hair at one time. The control buttons are really easy to reach and handle. You have three different air volume control settings, as well as three different heat settings. The Supersonic also has a cold burst button that is only a thumb reach away. I was amazed at how fast this thing turns out the heat from the coolest setting, which really comes in handy when you're at a crunch for time. The only problem that I saw was that the air comes in through the bottom, which can be a problem if you hold the dryer too far down. It comes with three magnetic plastic attachments, so it kind of makes me wonder how long they'll last. Other than this, it is a great hair dryer that I'm sure will last a very long time. If you are serious about looks and hair styling, this is the hair dryer for you. It's pricey, but gets the job done much quicker than other hair dryers.

From a barber this is the world best blow dryer. I have tried so many and this one right here is it.

Some people may think this is an expensive blowdryer .. yes, you are right. But the amount of time that it saves my wife getting ready in the morning is well worth it. It is also significantly quieter than other less expensive options, which is desirable.
