Worth it!

It is the best hair dryer I've owned (and I've had many), and is excellent for drying and styling. It smoothes hair out and eliminates the need for Brazilian straightening and other processed treatments designed to flatten cuticle and give a smooth look.

It feels heavy to me, with the weight not being evenly distributed. Also, the way that I’m holding it makes the filter at the bottom pop off.

Getting one for my mom and in-law too. I didn't think $399 was worth it for a hairdryer that should have cost $20 at Costco. I mean, a hairdryer is a hairdryer, right? It just blows hot air. Wrong! I didn't want to admit it, but this Dyson hairdryer is now our favorite machine. The motor is quiet, vibration-free, all you hear is air noise. It's fun to dry hair.
