Very happy with this purchase. I only wish I had waited a few months to buy it when they released the new energy saving functionality with the sensor.

Each year or six months my wife goes through hair dryers. She has “thick” hair which takes a lot of time to dry. My wife’s first experience brought a big smile and a “You DID GOOD!” Now, three weeks into use I can say this expensive hair dryer IS worth it. It is quiet. It is very powerful. It works remarkably well. And it makes my spouse happy. There is nothing more I could ask for! Best gift!

I am so glad that I finally bit the bullet and dropped a fortune on this hairdryer! It is worth every dime. So quiet light weight easy to hold, and drives my hair in less than half the time of a normal hair dryer. My hair has left so much better since using the Dyson.

My husband has always had a strict rule about gifts I give him. He doesn’t want a utility gift which translates to anything with an electrical cord! However, he obsessed over this hair dryer from the moment he saw it. So, I took a shot and got this as one of his gifts. He was thrilled with it initially, but after using it, he raves about it. He has thick, curly hair that can become frizzy if not styled properly. Since using this dryer, his hair is softer than it ever has been. We both got our hair cut today, and he took it to the salon for our stylist to use on both of us. The stylist was incredulous at how well it worked for both of us. He and the other stylists in the salon suggested to the salon owner that she buy all of them one as a late Christmas gift! The dryer was a huge hit, and he has already gone on the Dyson website to buy a carrying case. He plans to take it on all his trips. Huge win! Apparently this is not a utility gift. It falls into a new acceptable category of grooming gifts.

Not only did I get kudos for this, it was very nice looking hair dryer. This works amazing. It really does cut drying hair time in half. That's great for a woman. My wife loves all the features and durability. It's a must own and the quality speaks for itself. If your on the fence about owning this, I say just do it like Nike. Hope this helps.

I bought this dryer to try out and see if it was worth all the hype. Man this thing has power! I have fine hair, but alot of it. I liked the dryer alot, but to me it was not worth the money. This dryer is perfect for people who have a TON of thick hair, it def cuts the dry time in half at least, but for me it left more tangles than not. If it was cut in half price tag wise, I would not think twice about keeping it, but I ended up taking it back because it just was not for me.

Birthday gift for my wife! Big winner, she absolutely loves it. I really love how all of my daughters now come into my room to use it too. Wife states that it makes her hair feel softer after each use in comparison to other hair dryers. She also spends less time drying her hair now.

This was bought as a gift for my wife who goes through hair dryers like a kid goes through toys! she was complaining that all the dryers she bought were week and slow and never got the job done in time. well not with Dyson. the first time she tried it she said it was very fast, easy to use, and convenient. it cut her hair styling time by at least 10 minutes every day.
