It’s way quieter and seems like the air output is the right temperature and speed that it has to be to not damage your hair. The balance of weight to handle is also perfect where you don’t fatigue your arms or hands.

It's quieter and does the job faster! The dogs really like how quiet it is. Worth the money. Very well constructed too

The Dyson dries hair much faster, doesn't feel like it's setting hair on fire, feels durable, and looks great. I can't begin to attempt at justifying the cost, but if you have the money, get a good discount, and want to impress for Mother's Day... get one and see for yourself! Pros: - build quality, nice case, useful accessories - dries hair much, much faster - no wildfires in hair Cons: - weight/size - there's literally an inline brick on the power cord LOL - price
