It was quite a pretty penny, but she is crazy over it. She says it does great on her hair, especially since she uses it after she washes her hair every day.

That is crap one month after the 2 years it’s not covered

Quiet and powerful hair dryer

It isn't totally silent, but so much quieter than your normal hair dryer. Money well spent.

Dries fast and smooth and doesn't overheat the scalp like almost all dyers do. Very impressed with this hair dryer. I place the settings on medium. The hottest setting is very hot which is surprising since the wattage is less than other dryers. Extremely Easy to use and change settings. I don't have to go over my hair as many times to dry it or control frizz which is really amazing. I also don't have to constantly turn the brush which is also amazing. I suppose this would be even better for people with arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome. I've only used it a few times and so far so good.

Shes always wanted one and shes used it several times now and she loves how her hair feels after shes done.

I thought why so much when the cheaper ones do the same job.? WRONG. I tried it and found myself using it all the time. It makes your hair feel more healthy compared to cheaper blow dryers. Love it

Most pro dryers have an11’ cord the Dyson has a 9’ cord. 2) the power block one the cord makes navigation around salon chairs difficult 3) it’s not as hot as a pro hair dryer

Ever since switching to this our 1-year-old puppy has no problem with us using this to dry him after bath.

Quality of filter cover is not like $500 product. It should cost $150, not $500. Physically it can't cost that much. There is just a motor inside and good thermal regulator. I guess it's all just marketing and brand tax. The product itself is less noisy than other dryers. Looks pretty.

Since we have been together she has been through so many hairdryers and if you total them all up I bet it’s more than this is. Worth the price and I got it on sale!

As for the blow drying part (coming from a blowout stylist perspective) it does not come even close to a professional blow dryer. My clients were disappointed in the results that we got compared to how my traditional professional blowdryer would do.
