Bought it for my hair dresser wife and she loves it! Dyson makes quality products like Apple that are pricy but you’ll love the quality and experience every time you use it

Question who would pay $400 for a blow dryer? Buy this one and you will wonder why you waited. Difficult to describe and believe but the way it dries your hair is amazing.

Purchased as gift for wife. She has zero complaints about it. It is a very ergonomically designed hair dryer. She is a stylist, just got her license, and loves using it.

Great product but only if it turns on. This product over heat very fast and it seems to take forever to cool down. Will be returning back to the store.

Pricey, but good for daily use and travel purposes

I bought this product in July 2020, I own a couple of Dyson products and I am very happy with them. Unfortunately I have not the same experience with this hair dryer. After drying my hair, it feels that the moisture and life of my hair was sucked out of it. My hair’s texture changes to super dry to the touch. I have never experienced anything like this with other professional (and not so professional) hair dryers. I tried lower heat settings but still, my hair looks terrible: dry and lifeless. So I end up using my old hair dryer because I am afraid that this hair dryer will ruin my hair, breaking it and just burning it! I kept it thinking that maybe I needed to get the hang of it but no, nothing has changed! Highly disappointed, I wish I had returned it then!

Bought this for my wife. Lets just say she now believes the hype. I don’t know a thing about blow drying and diffusing. But her face after 10 minutes of use told me it worked.

This hair dryer is awesome... I bought this for my wife and she loves it... Her hair becomes more shinny and has the look like she just came from the hair stylist... a little pricey but well worth it!!!!

This maybe took 5 minutes off my normal 25-30 minute drying routine as I have long, thick, wavy hair. I somewhat appreciate that it doesn't get as hot as my other dryer so that I don't sweat while drying. I also like how compact it was. Not a lot of pros for the price. :/

We have passed this around the household members, to see if we could get consensus. Seems that everyone loves this hair dryer. Okay, yes it is expensive. But, there are lots of things you should think about. The time you spend drying your hair each day, is normally time you never get back. This shaves minutes off of your hair drying time; if 15 minutes normally, plan for maybe 10 minutes. I don't know about you, but 5 minutes a day is something to consider. Also, as for money, as we get older, we are many times in a position to get gifts for people they may not be able to afford until later in life. This hair dryer provides a great way to make someone feel special, given the price and name brand, plus the performance of this hair dryer. The unit is balanced, quiet, stays cool to the touch, and does a great job of drying hair. The typical hair dryer just blasts you with too much heat until you turn it to cool, then back to heat. This does a great job of doing hair drying but without over drying or being too hot. Dyson also planned it or designed it to make sure hair doesn't get sucked into the air intake as there is no screen over the motor blades. The accessories are well thought out, and magnetic, so they attach without being too tight or easily fall off. Most times with standard hair dryers, if you get any attachments, they stick on as they heat and expand. This is not the case with the Dyson. And you can remove them or move them, without burning your fingers. Also, these are useful accessories. You also get an ingenious non-slip mat. I have been frustrated for years with the hair dryer slipping off the bathroom sink; this solves that issue. I'm not sold on the hook, but I would not use it anyway, so a non-issue. If you wanted to, you could take this on travel too, it isn't as big and bulky, although many hotels now provide a hair dryer, you have to look and see if the screen is dirty or not....sort of like using a hotel pillow. But this gives you an option for travel, simply by putting it in your bag. Now that you know all of the details, you can see that maybe it is something for you, or for someone special in your life. I know that in my house, everyone was impressed and agreed that it was worth it.

This thing really blows! Tired of buying new hairdryers every 9 months. I bought this based on a professional's experience. He has been using his for 2+ years w/o issue.

My wife never thought a portable hair dryer could work as good as the hair dryers at her hair shop she goes to for her hair appointments. This unit does and also drys her hair without cause split ends, etc.

My wife went to the hairdresser who gave her layers because her hair was burnt. I bought this to remedy that and so far she is very happy and says it is helping. She says it doesn't cut down too much on the drying time though.

I'm really like this hairdryer. It does take getting used to. But my hair feels so much better afterwards. It doesn't take as long to dry either.

Bought the Dyson for my wife for Mother’s day. She normally has used professional grade hair dryers over the years, but this is by far her favorite ever. If you can stomach the cost, go for it. You won’t regret it.

Great dryer but too expensive. Can get a similar hair dryer for much less
