My wife says this is the best hair dryer she has ever had. From my perspective, this hair dryer is an engineering marvel. I thought it was going to be loud. Nope, not loud at all. It is way quieter than any hair dryer I've heard my wife, sister or mother use. Also it used to take my wife forever to dry her hair. This does it in 5 min and does such a good job that even I can tell how good a job it did despite being andl unobservant male.

I was a bit skeptical at first about the Dyson hairdryer. I've been using various hairdryers my whole life but this is a completely new design and take on these machines and there were a lot of promises about quieter operation, better results, etc. However, I have to say that I'm very impressed with the Dyson! The overall construction and design makes it a lot easier to maneuver while drying my hair. I have fine, straight hair and have always had to dry my hair upside down in order to get the most body out of my hair. I would still end up with a ton of fly-aways. Using the Dyson, I started without any attachments to get some of the moisture out of my hair and then I used the smoothing attachment. The unit was set in the middle for heat and airflow and I would say that my hair was dry in less than 5 minutes. I finished with the “cool shot” and had only a few fly-aways. My hair was a lot shinier and aside from touching up a few ends, I didn’t need to use my flatiron. By not needing the flatiron, using the Dyson has shaved 10-15 minutes off my bathroom routine! Pros: - Ease of use - Design/comfort/control when operating - Weight of the hairdryer at only 1.8 pounds - Magnetic attachments - 3 varying heat and drying settings and the “cool shot” button (very cool temperature and adds a lot of shine). - Much quieter than other hair dryers - Comes with a silicon mat to lay the hair dryer on while it’s still hot Cons: - Price If you’ve ever owned anything from Dyson, you already know the packaging is second to none. Everything was neatly organized and protected within the box and the quality of the packing materials is outstanding. Of course all of this technology, innovation and quality materials and packaging come with a price. That will probably be the biggest deterrent to most people looking at this product. It definitely has the cool factor going for it and there are benefits to using it as noted above. Overall, it is a great product and if you have the extra money to spend on a high quality product that will likely last a while, I highly recommend it.

This machine cut my hair drying time down by half. I will never go back to a different dryer.

The Dyson we love the most! We have tried several hair dryers needing the cold as equally as hot air, nothing comes close to what this product can do. pricey but worth it.

This hair dryer, while wildly expensive, works fantastically. My hair dries faster and looks smoother. I find that that I don't need to use the highest heat setting at all. The dryer has multiple blower speed and heat settings, making it perfect for styling my hair. The unit is very easy to hold, lightweight, and is well balanced. It's much more quiet than conventional hair dryers. No burning smell like other dryers. It comes with 3 directional styling tips, which are magnetically attached. If you can afford to buy a Dyson hair dryer that costs as much as a high end vacuum cleaner, do it. You won't be disappointed.

I love the Dyson Hair Dryer. I have 3B/C curly hair. When using the diffuser my hair does not become frizzy and it dries my hair soooo fast. (I hover it over my hair) I have also used the attachment to blow out straight with great results as well. I love the feel of it in my hand and I love the heat pad it comes with. The pad is grippy so the dryer does not slip off the counter if I bump the cord. Can't say enough how much I love this hair dryer. I highly suggest you invest in one as well!!!

I bought this item for my wife for Valentines day, and she loves it. Ok fine, I love it too. I've never been one to blow dry my hair, relying on the elements and hot weather of Las Vegas to dry it out. One morning after getting out of the shower though my wife turned it on and aimed it my way, and I realized that this hair blower was different than what I had used in the past. The hair blower is a lot quiet than others I have used, and though the air doesn't feel like it is moving as fast it somehow is extremely more efficient in the way it dries. Wonderful product.

Got this as a b day gift for my mother ans she said that its been the best and most useful gift shes ever recieved.
