Stopped working at the 9 month mark. I purchased one about a year prior to this one and same thing. 2/2 junk

Not worth the money. I was extremely disappointed after hearing from friends how wonderful their dysons were. It was nothing special. I prefer my $50 hair dryer to style my hair. I wish i eould have tried an older model without the new technology. I might have liked that one but now im not going to waste my money.

I recrived my Dyson dryer but it was broken and damage

Overheated and quit working first use. The scalp sensor was strange also not sure that it was needed.

I’m putting a 1 star cuz that’s the lowest I can place. The only reason I’m putting 1 start is due to me never receiving the item, yet I get no refund nor replacement. Trying to speak to Customer Service is extremely hard and when you do they make you walk through all these hoops that don’t even help, in the end, I get nothing, no refund or replacement.

The Dyson Supersonic Neural Hair Dryer has completely changed how I dry and style my hair. As with so many Dyson products, from the moment I opened the box, I was impressed by the design. It’s sleek and comfortable to hold, and using it doesn’t tire my arm out, even during longer drying sessions. I have pretty thick hair, so it’s fantastic for that. It dries my thick, long hair in half the time of my old dryer. It does get pretty hot, but it has the intelligent heat control feature which is fantastic, measuring the air temperature constantly to prevent overheating. My hair feels smoother and looks shinier since I started using it, with fewer split ends and less breakage. Since I also straighten my hair, that’s hugely important to me. I love the attachments too, especially the smoothing nozzle that helps me get a sleek, straight look, while the diffuser is great for my natural waves and reducing frizz. That all helps reduce how much I need to use the straightener, which is always a plus. While it’s on the pricier side, it’s worth every penny. Durable, high-performing, and protects my hair, keeping it healthier. Love it and highly recommend.

The heat stopped working within 3rd use, extremely disappointing!! Returned and bought a Shark Blowdryer.

This is an amazing blow dryer. I am totally impressed. Packaging- the blow dryer comes in a long box, which threw me off, because it made it appear to be huge. Everything is packaged well. Not at all, the actual product is a standard sized blow dryer, it is a light blue and orange. It had a little weight to it, but not in a bad way, it’s not heavy at all. The power cord is heavy duty. It has a reset and test button on it. Actual product - as I stated, the dryer is standard sized, not too heavy. Nice color. The attachments attach to dryer magnetically. There are small buttons to adjust fan speed, as well as heat settings and scalp mode. . They look really nice in a clear plastic covering. There is an orange section at the bottom, the air vent and it contains a removable filter cartridge. The overall appearance is aesthetically pleasing. I tested dryer using the wide tooth comb and gentle air attachments. The diffuser doesn’t really work well for my hair texture. The dryer warms up very quickly and the hottest setting gets really hot. I found the medium setting worked best for me. I was able to dry my hair pretty quickly, and was impressed with how straight my hair was. I like the scalp protect mode feature, I tried that out, and realized I didn’t need to adjust as much manually. The overall results were great. I was pleasantly surprised how much I like this dryer. All of my others will now go in the trash. This dryer is very high quality, I am very pleased and highly recommend it. I plan to recommend it to my hair stylist to use in her shop. Great product.

In the box is the dryer, multiple attachments to include a diffuser, a wide tooth comb, concentrator, gentle air attachment and the flyaway attachment. There is also an information card and warranty card. First impression - I love the new color and the new diffuser. I currently own the original Supersonic Hair Dryer that is pink and gray. Side by side, they look the same size and the cords are the same length. The buttons are in the same spots but there is an additional blue/silver button at the top of the dryer, above the fan and heat settings. Attachments - I was curious to see if the old attachments would work (the diffuser, the comb and the concentrator are what I own on the older model) and the comb did not fit and the wider diffuser and the concentrator still work and turned on with a low heat, high fan setting. The new diffuser is amazing. I say this because I am currently trying to learn how to get less frizz with my 3A-3B curls. So I have been popping out the prongs from the dome and use the dome to create my cast and then I add the prongs back to finish drying and adding volume to my curls. I am also trying to learn how to cut time with drying as well since I have a lot of hair and I get tired of holding the dryer. So far, with proper set up with product and hand dry then using the diffuser I have cut 10 minutes off my time with this new dryer and I am actually patient enough to get a full cast before moving to add the prongs and add the volume. Using the app and the dryer in person, I was able to see each attachments use and setting options. I used the gentle air attachment and to me the dryer was definitely a lot cooler when closer to my scalp. I would also like to add that I like that the dryer illuminates the type of heat setting that is currently being used as it takes the guesswork out of looking directly at the dryer. I used my normal routine for my curly hair and used the newer dryer with diffuser attachment and so far, now that I am properly creating a cast, my hair is on day three and still looks great. The App - I wasn’t going to download the app but I figured it would be good to go ahead and add the new dryer to my list of Dyson products. In the app, you can register your product and learn more about the dryer and the attachments. There is also support option and product settings. Overall, the upgrade to me is so worth it not only for the additional attachments but also having the added scalp protectant which is definitely helpful me no matter what style I chose (straight, curly). I would recommend this product to friends and family.

Dyson Supersonic Nural Hair Dryer – Ceramic Patina/Topaz This hair dryer is just amazing! There are so many more controls and features than on regular hair dryers. The unit itself feels very substantial, but not too heavy to hold and move around your head. The cord is nice and long, so you can plug it in above the counter and still dry your hair upside down. I absolutely love that the air intake for the dryer is at the bottom of the handle. No more pulling hair out of the back of the unit! The power of the dryer is something I have never experienced before. It is so powerful! When drying your hair, you can change the temperature of the air, change the speed of the air, put the dryer in scalp protect mode, and do a cool shot. Scalp protect mode is when you move the dryer closer to your scalp, the temperature of the air automatically adjusts cooler. That’s a plus! Five attachments are included with the dryer. A wide tooth comb, a gentle air attachment, a styling concentrator, a wave and curl diffuser which can be used in dome mode or diffuse mode, and a flyaway attachment. No attachment storage bag though. I have tried all of the attachments and have to say that I liked the gentle air attachment and the wave and curl attachment the best. I also like using the unit without any attachment at all. When I used the wide tooth comb, it just got stuck in the tangles in my hair. I had to wet brush my hair first before using it. The wave and curl diffuser were nice, it left the curl in my hair and did not pull the hair. The scalp nubs on the diffuser were a bit hard on my head for my liking. The flyaway attachment was different for me. I tried it a few times and still haven’t figured out how it works or how it keeps flyaway’s in control. I think I will have to go to the website or search online and maybe see some videos of it in action to get the feel of it. What is also fabulous with these attachments is that they learn your preferences as you use them! First time using the attachments, the settings are default, on the second using, the attachment has learned your preference and will automatically go to those settings. It is almost like a hair dryer with AI!! Absolutely love this hair dryer! It dries the hair fast and can help style the hair any way you want it. So glad I got this!

Absolutely love this dryer! My husband got it for our anniversary gift. I’ve been learning to embrace my curls that appeared in the past 5-6 yrs. Before I’d blow dry, straighten and turn into a frizzy mess the min I walked outside in humid windy S TX. It dries my hair in half the time as my old dryer and I love the two diffuser options. Only bummer was I was torn between this model and extra light new R model. I decided to get the R but took it right back since the diffusers on Nural seemed better watching reviews. Sadly Nural had been on sale $100 off day I decided and went up when I took back within 2-3 days. I figured sale would last a week anyway vs one day! Store wouldn’t honor sale price saying they only honor price changes two wks after. Great dryer though I’m very happy with! I use on medium heat first hover diffusing and then switch to using both diffusers on low heat. I only diffuse but I’ve seen in videos that many like the ‘fly away’ attachment doing blowouts. High heat is VERY hot! Oh and only two color options come with nice storage box so if you prefer box look for that.

So my hair came out extremely dry & felt like it was too much heat & air. It absolutely dried the life out of my hair & it also burned my scalps. The scalp sensor did not work for cool unless I literally took my hand & held it in front of this dryer or put it down which was ok. All in all for $600 Ill stick with the older Dyson this is absolutely NOT WORTH IT. It is pretty tho.

This NIA do two much don’t ever pass the mic to him ever again if I catch him running around doing some ungodly behavior y’all gonna have a problem with this captain over here .

Ok, this is your real review. Is trash, expensive and overrated. I have curly wavy hair, when my husband got me this I was so excited! Is a Dyson! First try the hair stayed the same. I stopped and looked for videos to see if maybe I was doing it wrong.. Nope... This device has NOTHING on my $40 Conair. I told my husband to return it because it does not work. If you have straight hair OFCOURSE is going to be perfect! The sensor thing is really nice but how you are going to get your hair straight with cold air?? Again it has nothing on your normal hair dryer this is just name. I am very disappointed.

I bought mine 2 months ago and it makes a very loud noise. Is there a warranty?
