This is an amazing hair dryer with cutting-edge technology which is path-breaking in this segment. I have used different kinds of hair dryers in the past but nothing comes close to this one. This has multiple features to protect the scalp and hair. The most amazing one is the Scalp protect mode that ensures to protect the hair right from root to the tip and provides long-term shine and prevents the over drying which is the most common drawback of all other regular dryers to give healthy looking and smooth hair. When this mode is ON, it automatically lowers heat when the dryer gets close to the scalp and when it is OFF, it allows to manually choose my heat setting. For quick results use the 'High' setting for fast drying and styling, select 'Medium' for regular drying, and use 'Low' for gentle drying. And when it comes to heat settings, it comes with four options. The first one is 212°F for fast drying and styling, the second one is at 176°F for regular drying, the third one is at 140°F for gentle drying, and the last one is at 82°F for constant cool To top it all, use the Wave+Curl diffuser to enhance the natural curl pattern with two modes that disperse airflow in two different ways. The Dome mode draws air into the dome and infuses it through the hair to enhance natural waves or curls for a more defined finish. This remmebers my styling pattern and automatically adjusts to the same fan speed and heat setting to give the same look over and over again. I do not have to memorize anything and let this do its job. With each different attachment it can keep the setting separate from each other. What more can I ask for, as when there is no activity the dryer automatically switch off the heater and also reduces the fan spped but quickly gets back to its job when reactivated. Overall, the hair dryer is a wonderful addition to my hair care collection and provides the much-needed satisfaction that my scalp will be protected at all times while using this dryer. I recommned this to all the potential users of hair dryer.

This latest version of Dyson’s Supersonic hair dryer is really great for my straight hair. I have the original Supersonic hair dryer, and have been using it for almost seven years. There’s nothing wrong with that hair dryer, but I had the chance to try this new one, so I had to get it to compare the two. The two hair dryers side by side are almost identical in shape and size (see my photo), but the Nural has a lot of new technology. The scalp protect mode is really interesting. I usually lose more hair than I would like to when drying my hair, but I notice that I don’t lose nearly as much with the scalp protect mode. That’s a win for me, because right now I have enough hair, but not if it keeps falling out. With all of my hair coloring and hair washing, I lose hair each time, so I like to keep what I’ve got! I have really straight hair, so I can’t really comment on the wave + curl diffuser. I completely forgot about it when I was taking pictures for this review, because I left it in the box. But I took a picture of it separately to show you. Drying my straight hair with the Dyson hair dryer is super quick. My hair length is just below my shoulders, and it’s of average density. It takes less than five minutes to thoroughly dry my hair. I go upside down to dry my hair from the backside, something I have done forever. It seems to be easier on the top surface of the hair. With the Dyson though, it might not even matter since it’s so good. But there's definitely more air flow through my hair, so it will speed up drying time. One hairdresser I used to see mentioned that she thought the cuticle of the hair is being sealed up with the power of the Dyson, which I’m not sure if that’s the case, but the texture of my hair is so nice after I use it. When I use a hotel hair dryer, it doesn’t feel the same. The flyaway attachment is new to me. My original dryer didn’t have that, and I kind of love it. With straight hair, if you have a few broken hairs that stick out, it’s really noticeable. The gentle air attachment is nice. I use that for drying my hair, and then use the styling concentrator afterwards. The new styling concentrator is great. The one on my original was so slippery it was hard to put on and remove. I do wish this new Supersonic came with a storage box, especially at this price point. I got a pink storage box with my original, so I’ll just use that. I’m still deciding who will get my hand-me-down Supersonic, but they won’t get my pink box. The pause styling is really helpful. The first time I tried it, I was a bit nervous, but now I’m okay with it. It works and it doesn't vibrate or shimmy off of the countertop. The Nural technology is something I’ll leave Dyson to explain, since I’m not a technology genius. But it is really a great update to an already great hair dryer. The patina color is really pretty.

True to it’s name this hair dryer is the best one I’ve seen in many years. For the longest time I had to endure my wife’s antiquated hair dryer making a racket when she uses it. With the Dyson everything is so quiet and quick and most of all the result is fantastic like a professional job. Dyson you’re the best?

The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer is a game-changer for hair care. Its intelligent heat control measures prevents extreme heat damage while drying hair quickly and efficiently. It’s lightweight, well-balanced, and comes with magnetic attachments for versatile styling. While it’s a premium investment, the advanced technology and hair-protecting features make it well worth the price. I purchased for my wife and it’s the only hair dryer she will use now as she has long hair.

I have been a Dyson Supersonic user since 2019. After six years, I needed a new Supersonic as it had reached the end of its life. Debating between another Supersonic versus the Nural, I decided on the latter. I was intrigued by the additional features that made it "smarter" than the previous Supersonic hair dryer that I had. I also own a Shark SpeedStyle Pro FLEX, which has similar features that I use strictly for travel, as it is compact in form. Since the Nural would replace my at-home hair dryer, it was essential for me that it perform just like my previous Supersonic, if not better. Initially, using the basic features, I was pleased with how quickly my hair dried for my short to medium-length hair. I was also happy with the finish and texture of my hair after drying, which made styling it afterward easier. Moving on to the new features, I experimented with different attachments and settings, primarily using the styling concentrator. I appreciate the sensor that adjusts the heat settings based on the positioning and distance of the hair dryer to my hair/head/scalp. On my previous Supersonic, I would often set the heat level to maximum and, at times, feel the temperature too hot on my scalp, or my hand would slightly burn as I used a brush to style my hair. The sensor automatically adjusts between the lowest and medium heat settings. As for drying time, it takes approximately the same amount of time without using the sensor feature. I appreciate that I can dry my hair at lower heat settings, which helps maintain the overall health of my hair and minimizes damage. Overall, I would recommend this product to those who want the extra "smart" features if it is within their budget. I purchased this at Best Buy during a sale, saving more than $200+. So if you see this baddie on sale, definitely jump on the opportunity. I am very happy with the Strawberry Bronze/Blush Pink color. It is a very unique color in comparison to the purple/Jasper Plum that is iconic to the Dyson Supersonic brand.

The Dyson dries hair incredibly fast—we love it so much that we now have two at home. The new color scheme feels fresh and stylish. I gifted one to my daughter, and she was absolutely thrilled!

Had to talk myself into the puchase since it was alot for a blow dryer. Glad i did make the purchase. It cut down on drying time and hair looks healthier

This blow dryer is lightweight and is a wonderful at dryer hair fast. This ia definitely top of the line and I am happy I purchased!

First off, we have little ones sleeping and that’s the only time my wife can shower. I was startled at how much more quieter it is than our previous hair dryers. That’s a HUGE plus and it doesn’t wake up the little ones. Also, my wife’s hair is INSANELY smooth and soft with this dryer!!! I can’t stop running my hair through her hair every night now! It’s the best hair dryer we’ve ever owned.

Excellent dries very quickly and does not damage the hair

I bought this on a whim as I have been wanting one for awhile now. Within the first use I was instantly blown away!!! I fell in love right away. It made my hair feel so soft and looked so shiny and healthy (usually with my old blow dryer my hair would be extremely frizzy and dry and brittle looking). It feels very high quality and it dried my hair in half the time. I’m so glad I made this purchase after hesitating for so long. It was a game changer for me! I highly highly recommend!

My wife's hairdryer and gone out and was in a bit of a panic. We looked up Dyson hairdryers nearby and this was the last one in stock at our local Best Buy. The product has an easy-to-use design and of course, Dyson quality. She loves it!

After several weeks with the Dyson Supersonic Nural, it’s transformed my routine: the built-in sensors automatically lower heat as the dryer gets close to my scalp, so there’s never that “too hot” blast. It dries my hair about twice as fast as my old dryer and leaves it smooth and shiny instead of frizzy. The motor-in-handle design keeps it balanced and comfortable for longer sessions, while the Air Multiplier airflow is powerful yet gentle—no need for extreme heat. The magnetic attachments click on effortlessly, auto-select sensible heat and speed, and the new diffuser gives me defined curls with no guesswork. It even remembers my preferred settings for each attachment, and Pause Detect idles the airflow when I set it down—small touches that make a big difference. It’s definitely an investment, but if you blow-dry often and care about hair health, the time saved and heat protection make it worth it. My only wish is for a slightly shorter cord, but that’s a minor trade-off for such a well-designed tool.

As a dad who splurged on the Dyson Nural Supersonic Hair Dryer for my 23-year-old daughter, I can say that while the $500 price tag might raise eyebrows, it seems you truly get what you pay for. This is my second Dyson purchase, and while I can't personally attest to the intricacies of hair drying technology (that's my daughter's domain!), her enthusiastic reaction speaks volumes. Apparently, this blow dryer is a game-changer. According to her, it's the best she's ever owned, and she's no stranger to quality hair tools. She raves about it, and someone as particular about her hair as she is doesn't offer such praise lightly. While I can't articulate the specific benefits for her hair, her sheer delight and unwavering opinion that this Dyson is "awesome" is enough for me to deem it a worthwhile investment. Thank you, Dyson, for making my daughter (and this dad!) happy!

This is an expensive purchase but worth it! Love this dryer! Hair dries quickly and looks great. Cut my drying time by 10 minutes . The dryer is not heavy and has just the right attachments for what I need. The feature that protects your scalp from heat is great. I would recommend this dryer.

I like Dyson the only thing I do not like is they do not last this is my 3rd one n thank goodness Best Buy had all my info on this last one I bought from them n it was less than 6 mths so they replaced I but had to pay an extra $100 because the one that stopped wking was on sale at time I purchased it . Didn’t think that was fair not my fault it quite wking . Wish they had one without all the extra attachments I do not need . Also with this one no bad to lay my dryer on when using it . N no case which as much as u pay for it should have a case /. My other one did
