Keeps turning off. Tried cleaning like it suggested, but still shutting off. I’ve only had this item 2 weeks

I’ve been using professional grade hairdryer since I was a kid. This hairdryer was the worst I’ve ever used. First of all if you want to style your hair don’t even try it. It’s only good for people with either staight or wavy hair who just want to dry their hair and maintain the natural form of their hair. If you have a wavy thick hair and try to blowdry it, just do your self a favor and don’t waste your time and money on this ithem.

This hairdryer is designed for all hair types. The dryer has three airflow settings and four heat settings. It is lightweight, quiet for a hairdryer, and uses negative ions to help reduce static. Included with your hair dryer are 5 attachments: 1. Gentle Air Attachment - diffuses the airflow evenly for a fast but gentle overall hair drying. 2. Styling Concentrator - the thin and wide attachment that concentrates the airflow for styling with brushes, etc. 3. Wide-tooth Comb - for drying your hair as you are combing through it to help straighten your hair. 4. Fly-away Attachment - a Godsend. This is great to smooth the frizz out of your hair and this makes your locks look smooth and gives a shiny finish. 5. The Wave+Curl Diffuser - a two-in-one attachment. The diffuser part has the long prongs to help airflow get to your roots for curlier hair. You can pull off the prong part and just use the dome. This can help to create waves and curls by placing the hair into the dome and holding it up to your head to dry. The attachments are held on by magnets. Something that I find very unique is that the dryer has a built-in sensor that lets the dryer remember the previous setting you used for any particular attachment. So, if you used the Styling Concentrator on high heat and high airflow, then switched over to the Gentle Air Attachment and used low heat and airflow, it will remember these settings. Once you switch the attachment, it will automatically change the air flow and heat settings for the attachment you just put on. I love that this hair dryer is so intelligent that it will not ever get too hot for your hair. This is especially good for your hair and scalp and helps prevent heat damage from your roots to your ends. An added bonus is that this dryer has a pause mode. If you place the dryer down, it will sense it and automatically lower the airflow and temp until you pick it back up to use. I have noticed a difference in my hair since using this dryer. It has become softer and shinier with each use. It looks so much healthier than it did before using this. I highly recommend this Dyson hairdryer. You won’t regret this purchase. It does things that you can’t find on other hairdryers and seems to make drying your hair much easier and faster when using the right attachment for the right style you seek.

Great hair dryer, new heat control system could have been faster

I dont often use hair dryers as it often takes too long. When I saw all of the smart features on this hair dryer, I was intrigued and had to give it a try. This hair dryer has all of the bells and whistles. First off, this dryer is absolutely beautiful. The blue color is a great choice. It comes with multiple different attachments. Each attachment is magnetic which is also a pretty neat feature. It came with 5 different attachments; a diffuser, wide tooth comb, flyaway tool, gentle air tool, and a styling concentrator tool. My personal favorite is the gentle air tool. This tool diverts some of the airflow so that is not quite as strong and direct. The dryer has a feature where it learns and stores your preferances for the attachments. There is also a scalp sensing feature. This is a feature you can turn on and off. When it is on, the center of the dryer glows green. It automatically detects skin, and ajusts the heat down so that you do not burn yourself. When you set the dryer down, it nearly pauses; throttling downnthe airflow and heat to almost nothing. When you pick it back up it kicks right back up to the prior settings. I played with this feature and even tried to trick it by holding it still and sideways, but I could not trick it. The dryer center also glows red when on high, or blue when using cold air. The cold air gets colder than any dryer ive used in the past. It has 3 airflow settings along with three heat settings to truley customize your experiance. It also has a filter at the base of the dryer that is easy to access and clean out when needed. The cord is super long which is also a great touch. I was at a hotel and could plug it in in the bathroom, and was able to leave the bathroom and sit on the bed with it. I also did not feel that it damaged my hair any and it dried quicker than woth a typical dryer. My hair felt super soft after use. All and all, its a pretty cool hair dryer despite being quite costly.

Nice quality but not worth the money in my opion. I returned them which was done very quality and no issues.,

This new version has an automatic “pause detect” that turns off the heating element and turns the motor down. It’s the worst feature ever. Your hand needs to constantly be moving. If I stop moving the dryer for a second it activates. There’s no way to turn that feature off. Very frustrating!

I bought my dyson nural September 2024. I am a hair stylist and take pride in my work and use the very best tools to get me there. I owned a regular dyson supersonic before this and it was wonderful. However, the nural is NOT for stylists. It lasted MAYBE 2 month before it just lost power. I replaced it with another in hopes that I just got a dud and the next would be fine. I replaced it at the end of October and just yesterday December 13th the second one did the same exact thing. No power. No troubleshooting worked. I throughly cleaned everything and kept it clean all the time. There was no explanation as to why this happened again. Long story short, if you are a hair stylist don’t buy this and buy the regular supersonic. The gimmicky smartness of this dryer is probably great for someone who doesn’t use everyday multiple times a day.

.It makes my home’s fuse blow after two or three minutes. I tried it in different outlets but it’s still the same, so I want to return it

Never came had to get a refund! Very unfortunate and not pleased with shipping.

Stopped working at the 9 month mark. I purchased one about a year prior to this one and same thing. 2/2 junk

This is an amazing blow dryer. I am totally impressed. Packaging- the blow dryer comes in a long box, which threw me off, because it made it appear to be huge. Everything is packaged well. Not at all, the actual product is a standard sized blow dryer, it is a light blue and orange. It had a little weight to it, but not in a bad way, it’s not heavy at all. The power cord is heavy duty. It has a reset and test button on it. Actual product - as I stated, the dryer is standard sized, not too heavy. Nice color. The attachments attach to dryer magnetically. There are small buttons to adjust fan speed, as well as heat settings and scalp mode. . They look really nice in a clear plastic covering. There is an orange section at the bottom, the air vent and it contains a removable filter cartridge. The overall appearance is aesthetically pleasing. I tested dryer using the wide tooth comb and gentle air attachments. The diffuser doesn’t really work well for my hair texture. The dryer warms up very quickly and the hottest setting gets really hot. I found the medium setting worked best for me. I was able to dry my hair pretty quickly, and was impressed with how straight my hair was. I like the scalp protect mode feature, I tried that out, and realized I didn’t need to adjust as much manually. The overall results were great. I was pleasantly surprised how much I like this dryer. All of my others will now go in the trash. This dryer is very high quality, I am very pleased and highly recommend it. I plan to recommend it to my hair stylist to use in her shop. Great product.

Not worth the money. I was extremely disappointed after hearing from friends how wonderful their dysons were. It was nothing special. I prefer my $50 hair dryer to style my hair. I wish i eould have tried an older model without the new technology. I might have liked that one but now im not going to waste my money.

I’m putting a 1 star cuz that’s the lowest I can place. The only reason I’m putting 1 start is due to me never receiving the item, yet I get no refund nor replacement. Trying to speak to Customer Service is extremely hard and when you do they make you walk through all these hoops that don’t even help, in the end, I get nothing, no refund or replacement.

I recrived my Dyson dryer but it was broken and damage

Overheated and quit working first use. The scalp sensor was strange also not sure that it was needed.

The Dyson Supersonic Neural Hair Dryer has completely changed how I dry and style my hair. As with so many Dyson products, from the moment I opened the box, I was impressed by the design. It’s sleek and comfortable to hold, and using it doesn’t tire my arm out, even during longer drying sessions. I have pretty thick hair, so it’s fantastic for that. It dries my thick, long hair in half the time of my old dryer. It does get pretty hot, but it has the intelligent heat control feature which is fantastic, measuring the air temperature constantly to prevent overheating. My hair feels smoother and looks shinier since I started using it, with fewer split ends and less breakage. Since I also straighten my hair, that’s hugely important to me. I love the attachments too, especially the smoothing nozzle that helps me get a sleek, straight look, while the diffuser is great for my natural waves and reducing frizz. That all helps reduce how much I need to use the straightener, which is always a plus. While it’s on the pricier side, it’s worth every penny. Durable, high-performing, and protects my hair, keeping it healthier. Love it and highly recommend.

The heat stopped working within 3rd use, extremely disappointing!! Returned and bought a Shark Blowdryer.

I bought this yesterday and today it started smoking and stopped turning on!!!! Never, never, never, never buy this hair dryer
