I read reviews with people saying that it makes your hair soft and dries a lot faster. And it Does ! Before I had to use a flat iron because my hair after blow drying even with use of heat brush was very frizzy and full and unmanageable. However after using Dyson I no longer have to use flat iron in order to achieve smooth look. My hair is still full since I have a lot of it but it is smooth and looks like from hair dresser. I think it looks better than hair dresser because it is not as damaged from the heat. So this dryer is worth the price : )

Great dryer for labradoodles! Yep, this is for my dogs! With the diffuser attachment, it is quiet and dries them quickly! Because the exhaust is at the bottom of the handle, I can sit it on the counter where and point it at them—to give me 2 hands for brushing and keeping them where I want them! I have used it for myself, and it worked great on me too! Expensive, yes, but the first dryer I have tried that doesn’t make the puppies want to run away!!

I thought long and hard before purchase due to the cost. Decided to treat myself and I couldn't be happier. This Dyson hair dryer is easy to handle. It gets hot but doesn't burn your hair. You can hold the attachments right on your hair without worry. No more frizz. My hair is fine and thick and feels really soft after drying. I can tell after using this dryer for several weeks that my hair is healthier. I'm not sure it's any faster than my old dryer, but I don't care because my hair is so much softer and shines. No regrets here.

Such a fantastic blow dryer, the speed is amazing and it doesn’t leave my hair frizzy. I have a lot of thick hair and it takes less time than any other blow dryer to dry my hair. My hair always blows out really nice!

I love this blow dryer. Way more quiet then a normal blow dryer. Easy to hold on to and drys hair way more faster. Plus my hair feels alot smoother using it. The only downfall is the price. I still can't believe I paid that much but it's a Dyson and I love modern technology. Overall I am happy

Absolutely love my Dyson! Dries my hair fairly fast. Even though my hair is short this Dyson is lightweight and quick is better for me. Very quiet compared to my old dryer and love the magnetic attachments. Sometimes I wish it had a lower speed but overall very happy with it. I've been waiting a long time and finally made the purchase to buy. I have no regrets!

This is hands down the best hair dryer I’ve ever used. It’s so lightweight and easy to maneuver. It dried my curly hair in 15 minutes instead of the 45-60 minutes it used to take with my old dryer, and with way less frizz! It’s obviously pricy, but I have no regrets. Highly recommend!

This fan was a gift for my wife. After one year of use, the fan started shutting down after 15–30 seconds. I contacted Dyson support and sent the fan to them. After a few weeks, we received a new supersonic model, which is better and has some new features.

I’ve been wanting this hair dryer for some time, but couldn’t afford it. Finally, had enough points on my Best Buy card to make it possible. It has cut drying time almost in half and It’s also a beautiful piece of art! Very happy customer :)

I wanted to not like this dryer because of the hefty price tag but it is by far the best hair dryer I've ever used. Dry time is faster but for me most importantly my frizzy hair is no more - it's smooth and silky after each drying. I haven't used the diffuser attachment so I can't speak to that but the other attachments are great. Just do it - buy it...

The Dyson is a high quality dryer, it has good power and I love the four levels of heat. It does seem quieter than my last dryer. The down side is the cord is thick and heavy which ads to the weight of the dryer, making it a little hard on the wrist and shoulder. And the buttons for level of heat and power are in an awkward position.

I wanted this hair dryer for YEARS and let me tell you it was all worth it. I finally took the dive into purchasing such an expensive hair dryer and I have to say it is worth every penny. This is the lightest and most powerful hair dryer I’ve ever seen, all while being so incredibly quiet. Comes with multiple attachments, a holding strap and silicone mat to place it on. The best part in my opinion is the extremely long cord. At first I was like “this isn’t necessary to have this cord be this long.” But I quickly changed my opinion on it. I can blow dry my hair on my bed while it’s plugged into my vanity mirror! LOVE THAT! All in all though this is a great purchase and it’s easy to clean with the easy detachable filter. Highly recommend this product. Might feel like a bite to your wallet for a bit (depending on your tax bracket) but it is all worth it isn’t he end. Your hair will be dry before you can even finish reading my review! BOOM! .Xx

Love it so far. It's a lot quiter and works a lot quicker for me. I'm a guy with shortish hair. My old normal dryer took at least 15 minutes to dry all my hair. This takes 3-5 at most and I think it's made a difference in how my hair feels too.

I figured we would see hair health improvements over the course of a few months of using this blow dryer since it’s supposed to be safer for hair compared to other dryers. We noticed an instant difference in hair shine and smoothness after the first use. It’s also light in the hand and has lots of useful attachments.

Got my wife the Dyson hair dryer and it’s been a game changer. It dries hair super fast without the heat damage, and it’s lightweight so easy to handle. She loves how smooth and shiny her hair looks after. Pricey, but totally worth it for the quality and results.

All I can say is I cannot believe I didn't buy it sooner. It is so expensive which is why I didn't but so glad I did when it was on sale. Being a former hairdresser I have used so many blow dryers and really coukdn't imagine one being that much better to warrant the price. This truly is amazing.

I have used a Solano professional dryer for the last 25 years and when the motor died I didn’t have a back-up dryer handy I had to scramble. It takes Solano repairs about 10 days to repair & return dryers when you send them to their repair facility and I had to get something locally. I had read the Dyson reviews when it first came out and they were inconsistent - many people were “reviewing” the retail price vs the performance but when they only offered the fuschia color I wasn’t particularly interested in it. When I started researching I saw that Dyson has a colorway that was primarily white I decided to try it and I planned on exchanging it if I wasn’t thrilled with the results. $400 is a lot for a hair dryer but saving 5-7 minutes a day in drying time is worth that to me. I have straight fine hair that is very thick and with the Solano it took ~ 15 minutes to get my hair 85% dry. I can get my hair 90% dry in ~ 8 minutes with the Dyson. That works out to ~ 36 hours a year if I use it 6x week. That is so worth it to me. My hair doesn’t look much different but because I’m shaving 5-7 minutes of my drying time I am much less rushed in the morning which makes for a great start to the day. If you don’t mind spending time drying your hair then it may seem frivolous to spend $400 on a hair dryer and I don’t think this is a good value for you but I really love it and I was skeptical.

As expensive as this hair dryer is, it has cut my hair drying time in half. The attachments are pretty amazing, smoothing the frizzies, styling waves, or styling straight. It's worth every penny.
