I have super thick curly hair, and it takes FOREVER to dry. Using the Dyson has cut my dry time in half, my hair is less frizzy and easier to straighten.

I was skeptical when i ourchased this for my wife since I spent a boatload of money on the dyson hair straightener/dryer but that thing bombed. My wife finds hair products fairly hard to accommodate her thick hair as a latina, but this thing does wonders! Only thing best buy needs to fix is their online in store pickup process!

I have medium long hair and I was done in less than half the time it usually takes to dry my hair. This is a game changer!

But my wife says it has more hype to it than it deserves. So, here's the breakdown of pros and cons. Pros: 1. Small top and a hole in it! Looks awesome. 2. Much quieter than your usual hairdryer. Cons. 1. Price (obviously). 2. Buttons to regulate airflow and heat are small but the light holes showing the currently set level are tiny-tiny (hard to see). 3. The circuit-breaker plug is twice as big as on other hair dryers. BUT...there is one extra brick on the cord about 2 feet from (and even bigger than) the circuit-breaker plug. What is it doing there? Is it to remove the processing from the dryer making it smaller and moving it onto the cord? 4. The cord is VERY thick and heavy, making the hair dryer harder to handle. I feel like because the dryer processor is in that brick on the cord, it has to use cord not only one way (to get electricity) but two-ways, making cord at least twice as thick.

That didn’t happen. I opened the box and was impressed with how much detail and care went into just the packaging. You get a very beautiful case and all the attachments. The dryer itself is sleek and modern. You expect the first time you start it up that it will sound like a jet taking off. Instead it is much quieter than any other dryer I have ever used. The ergonomics seem to be strange at first but most of the weight is in the handle so you quickly get used to it and my arm no longer feels like it’s about to fall off. 10/10 would recommend!
