Within this short time, the suction tube has stopped functioning properly and is no longer intact. It's disappointing that such a critical part has failed so quickly, considering the overall quality of the machine.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This review comes from someone who previously and still does own the Dyson V10 cordless stick vac. TL;DR version is you already have the V10, save your money for a future version that is improved further. Assembly is easy and quick thanks to the included documentation. Needs to charge up first but then you just snap attachments in and go. I will say on the volume is much quieter than the V10 and there is a little innovation on the bottom brush roller that helps picking small bits up. The LCD screen is nice but not a game changer as far as your speed and remaining battery life. The cradle is wall mountable and recommended to do so with included dry wall anchors and screws. You get a crevice attachment and pet roller attachment as well both do their job as intended. Maintenance you have a rinseable filter up top nothing that should need to be replaced anytime soon. For the price tag buy in coming from a last gen V10 I was expecting more innovation than an lcd screen and noise reduction. Overall it doesn't seem like it would be worth upgrading at the hefty price tag that Dyson carries. If this is your first Dyson by all means you won't be disappointed but if you've been wondering if this is the year to trade in your V10 for the V11, I'd wait for the V12 and see what Dyson comes up with.
