I was hesitant to purchase this due to the price. I have a plug in Dyson which am very happy with. When a friend recommended this I decided to purchase it. Glad I did, works awesome, a little heavy for pushing on rugs but that's the only drawback. Would not recommend if you have all carpeting and this is your primary vac.

I honestly can't see myself using another brand of vacuum for the rest of my life. I've used my dyson to clean the house, the stairs, the carpet and linings of my car and it's always pulled more dirt and cleaned so much more than any other vacuum I've ever own.

this is the best vacuum! you will not be disappointed with this! we absolutely love it! i have hard wood flooring throughout my entire house and lots of stairs. this thing is soooo good and easy to use. has the beer sucking power too!!

Let me start by saying that this vacuum is probably one of the best vacuums I’ve used. It is incredible what they have done with this cordless vacuum. I love that I can just grab it and vacuum all over my house without worrying about unwinding a cord and finding an outlet. Then when I move from room to room I don’t have to unplug it and find another outlet. This vacuum does seem to have great suction and picks up all the way to the edges. I was even able to pick up small lint or other small pieces that were on carpet right next to an ottoman. The auto mode works well so you can go from a hard floor to carpeting and it detects the difference and puts more power to the head so you can keep vacuuming without missing a beat. This vacuum has an easy button that you can press to separate the wand, floor tool, crevice tool, etc… from the vacuum. This works very well. You can remove the floor tool and put the crevice tool or a small brush on the end for a longer reach, or you can remove the long tube and attach the crevice tool or small brush directly to the vacuum. This unit comes with a clip that easily clips onto the wand. This clip holds both the crevice tool and the small brush. It holds them using the button that is used to attach them to the vacuum. That was pretty clever. I also like the fact that you do not need to buy vacuum cleaner bags. This one is bagless, so you don’t need to purchase bags for it. To dump the vacuum, there is a release on the back side that you push down on to release and dump. This works pretty well. Now here are the minor things that I don’t like. Since the vacuum is part of the handle, all the weight is in the handle and not at the floor. It isn’t all that heavy, but it is something to get used to. With the crevice tool and small brush, I thought it would be great for using in a car. Well since the head is rather bulky, it does not work very well for cleaning your car. Since it is a bagless vacuum, the container will need to be cleaned occasionally. I have not taken it apart yet. The floor tool will get hair wound around the brush head. On one end there is a slot that needs to be turned. It would appear that you could put a quarter in there and turn it. I tried but it wouldn’t budge. It requires a bit of strength. I used a large screwdriver. That worked well. After removing the brush head, It did make it much easier to remove the hair that was wrapped around the brush head. All in all, If you are looking to upgrade your corded vacuum, I would not hesitate to purchase this one. It is cordless, bagless, light and easy to use and has plenty of suction.

So I had a Dyson 8 absolute, it started to have problem holding a charge then the connection from the poll to the motor started to loosen Ok time to do something! Thank God I bought the warranty, upgraded to the Dyson V11 Origin. An I love it.

This is the BestBuy ver of the V11 and I believe the only difference is digital display. Not really necessary if you need a good vacuum that is portable. We’ve have ours in a 3-story townhouse, so this vacuum is back saver!

Love this vacuum, it replaced our broom. We have a Rottweiler and the broom was just not doing it anymore to pick up all his hair. We also have 3 little ones who make messes everywhere so this vacuum helps a ton!!

Probably not worth what it cost. But it is still better than the alternatives that are out ther

I bought this as a gift for my mother who has been wanting a cordless vacuum for quite some time. We opened it Christmas morning and used it right away. Works wonders! We didn't know how dirty her carpet really was.

A little heavy but still deliver portability and good power to clean the entire house and stairs.

This is a great vacuum! I love the convenience of easily stowing it away. My only complaint is the crevice tool does not really reach well into crevices and it only comes with the 2 attachments.

This is my wife's favorite vacuum and we will be a Dyson family for life but make sure you buy geek squad with it every time and you will be hard pressed to find a better value for the money

Honestly because of this vacuum, I look forward to vacuuming and want to vacuum all the time. I love that it automatically changes settings on its own when it detects carpet/hardwood flooring.
