This was a splurge but very much worth it. Can do the whole house on one charge and it handles GSD dog shedding quite well. Only downside is it’s a lot heavier than previous models.

All the power of a chorded vacuum along with great versatility. Daily vacuuming time cut at least in half. One of the best home investment I’ve made. Worth every penny.

This is the best cordless stick vacuum I have ever used. I just purchased the V 11 outsize for my mother-in-law's house, and everyone is so impressed and amazed at how well it does its job. I love that this vacuum comes with two batteries which really comes in handy for a large house. I have the V 11 myself and I found that the outsize is much easier to open to get rid of the dirt and debris. As far as the weight is concerned, I really can't tell the difference between the two. The container on the outsize makes it slightly more difficult to get into tight corners or spaces such as behind the sofas.

Absolutely love this vacuum!!! No cords and the battery is decent except if you use max mode. It does a great job cleaning. Can’t go wrong with Dyson.

This is without a doubt the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. I also had the V10 model, but upgraded for the outsize form factor. The battery pack charges in about 1.5 hours, and the filter comes out and needs to be cleaned with cold water, and left out to dry for 24 hours according to LG service every month. While this is a bit pricey, it's totally worth it. The lifetime of these vacuums, if taken care of should last you for many years. I also purchased the Geek Squad protection on the vacuum just in case there are problems. Overall, however, this is the best vacuum cleaner I've ever owned.

    Technological Wonder but Pricey!

This thing is a technological wonder and a monster of a vacuum. My main complaint would be the price and the battery life. Even though there is usually enough juice to clean my whole house, I doubt that will be the case if/when I move to a larger home. The auto function is super intuitive, though.

Love this vacuum! The bigger size bin, the digital battery display, and the wider head attachment are game changers for me. It comes with two batteries for longer run times, and they are super easy to change. Plus the digital screen tells you the estimated run time you have left. I was using the Dyson V 10 prior to buying this one, and I loved it as well. However, I was using it for my whole home, so I was having to empty the dirt bin too often as well as the battery would go dead before I could finish all the floors. I would say this stick vac is worth every penny!

Excellent Vacuum. Although battery driven it has more suction then most corded vacuums. Only down side is it is too heavy and your wrist might get tired.

This Dyson works well, as it should at almost $800.... Within the first 3-4 full charges one of the 2 supplied batteries failed and wouldn't hold a charge. One trip to Dyson online and a customer service chat rep took care of me. She had a new replacement battery shipped out to me quick as can be!! So, overall it really Sucks!!!! Lol If you don't mind the stupid expensive price point, then I would say It is a pretty awesome Vacuum. I finally replaced my first Corded Dyson after 15 years. For a battery powered device I would recommend it! I hope she lasts as long as my first Dyson!!!!! Time will tell!

My wife bought this vacuum for the house 2 years ago and it really does perform well. I like the ease of cleaning the beater head. The battery life is okay but the timer isn’t too accurate. Would recommend to a friend.

This is my third batter powered vacuum from Dyson the other 2 are really bad they do not have a battery life to do anything. This one is better it comes with 2 batteries. I do not like the fact that you have to detach the attachment before you can empty it. Also it is extremely over priced!

The product is worth recommending, but the price should be slightly lower. It does 99% of its job. It is a pity there is no built-in radio.

the good: - power - Wow! Finally, a handheld that can rival the suction power of a full size corded vacuum. There's always been a bit of a trade off in cordless/handheld vacuums when compared to their full size counterparts, but that no longer seems to be the case with the V11. Between that and the full size cleaner head, you're really not having to compromise at all. - battery remaining readout - Instead of looking at the battery for a 3-2-1 lights power remaining, now you actually get a time estimate. You can also directly see the effects of the different suction modes on battery life, which change dynamically as the mode changes. - removable battery, extra battery and charger included - Double the cleaning time with the included battery and charger. Just like a cordless drill, you remove the spent battery, click on the new one (which you can charge separately with a second included charger cable) and you're good to go. - large canister - The waste bin canister is massive, especially compared to other cordless manufacturers, but even previous "V" models. - auto/manual switching of suction mode - Different suction strengths for different types of surface. These can be set to auto or manually managed. For me in my household of both tile and carpet, the spring shedding of my 3 dogs was no match. - attachments to essentially make it a "handheld" for smaller spaces - As with all of their previous V models, this comes with a ton of attachments for different types of target cleaning. They can attach to the longer tube, or directly to the canister to make it somewhat handheld. I say "somewhat" because it is still quite large because of the canister itself. the bad: - price - Some may balk at the high MSRP. Others may think it's completely worth it. - canister size - Some may be put off by the physical size of the upper canister/handle area and weight. misc: - extra battery and charger has no stand - Even though the included extra battery and charger is a nice touch (I wouldn't really call them 'free' at this price point) there's no place on the hanger to store them. It would've been a nice touch to expand the holder for this. - attachment space on the hanger - Another nitpick, but I've always wondered why the hanger doesn't have enough spots for all of the included attachments. overall: Overall this vacuum is probably at the front of the pack in its class, in most if not all categories. If you're looking at Dyson, then price probably isn't the biggest factor. If you're not dissuaded by its cost and you need heavy duty cleaning, the V11 fits the bill nicely.
