Horrible! Not working after a month.

I have spent hours taking it apart and cleaning it while watching a ton of videos and following Dyson's instructions. It's not even dirty! Dyson says I need a new brush bar. $800 and I already need a replacement part? This is going back. This is my 3rd Dyson vacuum. The second one only lasted 2 years. I thought I'd give it another shot. I love that it is cordless but it is heavy. Hard to change on thicker carpet. Parts are hard to to take apart. Parts feel cheap and plastic.

Posted .Hello JMF, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that after just a handful of uses, the brush bar has stopped spinning in the floor tool from your V11 Outsize. This is unexpected to hear, and not the experience we would expect for you to be having. This is one of our heaviest cord-free models in our offering; the Outsize does feature a full-size cleanerhead and full-size dust bin, offering the ability to have a wider cleaning path, and clean longer due to the larger bin.
We wouldn't expect to hear that this machine feels cheap, or like it may fall apart. I’m happy to inform you that Dyson cord-free machines are made from polycarbonate ABS - the same material used in riot shields and crash helmets. They are tough, so we subject them to hours of testing, including drop and impact tests. God must have spent a little more time on this vac

Having 3 kids and 3 pets in my house creates a lot of messes, lot of hair...This vacuum is so powerful it handles it all like a champ! My other stick vaccuums can not handle sucking up kitty litter, it just gets stuck in the head and falls out when you go to pick up the vacuum...this Dyson tackles the kitty litter with ease! My wife could not be happier! I have a couple rugs and one carpeted room in my house which is otherwise all hardwood/laminate floors. As an experiment I vacuumed first with my Shark cordless vacuum and then followed up by using the Dyson and the results were shocking how much more was trapped in the carpet and rugs that the Dyson was able to extract! I am beyond pleased with the performance of this cordless Dyson. It is very quiet on Eco mode, and extremely powerful on Boost mode. In my research I tried to see how big of objects it could suck up, and unfortunately one lego piece got stuck in the airway. The display screen prompted me with pictures on how to take apart the vacuum to clear the airway! I was amazed! just a few seconds later, after removing the stuck lego, I was back to demolishing dirt and debris on my floor. If you're looking for the best cordless vacuum ever, then you can stop your search because this is it!
