The vacuum intelligently and automatically adjusts to your floor type so going from hardwood/tile to carpet is a breeze as the vacuum will adjust the power level saving battery where it can but increases suction on carpets to drive bristles deep into carpets for a deep cleaning. With a second battery included, this cordless portable vacuum can easily replace your full-size (if you don’t run on max suction only). I am only 4ft 11 inches tall so what is big for me is a little different than for a person of average height. But I truly love the power
