This is one of the best vacuums I’ve bought yet!!!

Great product with great quality at a great price.

Cordless is so easy, however, batteries on these things don't last as long as they say. But the convenience alone is worth it.

Excellent Quality. The only issue is you have to constantly hold the button for it to run.

I’ve had a few of the Dyson cordless vacuums and this v11 is so close to being the perfect one. There is a lot to love about this vacuum and I will touch on a few relevant pros and cons. Best upgrade which to be honest was overdue is the battery pack can now be replaced and the unit came with two battery units. Digital screen is a nice upgrade and the product is super well made and looks like a modern piece of artwork. Because it looks so cool, I have even considered installing to be visible in my kitchen. The vacuum does genuinely perform well, is easy to maintain, and has a lot of suction power. A huge plus is that this picks up the little bits of dirt in the edge crevices that other vacuums just do not get and sucks up most everything in one pass!! While in the end you are just getting a vacuum, the experience of using the Dyson cordless line of vacuums has been a pleasure for each of the products I have used, and each new rendition gets better and better. While it is a super great product, I had to leave one star off for a few reasons. This particular model increased the size of the bin and the main vacuuming tool which has made it a little awkward and clumsy and took a little bit of getting used to. Getting around kitchen stools, dining room chairs, end tables, etc. is a bit trickier with the bigger head. The older v10 tools fit on this unit though so I was able to pick and choose the right size tool for my area. The only other opportunity I see for improvement is with the method of choosing the amount of suction. There is ECO, Auto, and Boost modes. The Auto mode does switch quickly to more suction when transitioning from hard floor to carpet which is super cool, however I find the suction in auto mode to be a little to light for hard floors. I think adding another mode for in between auto and boost would be ideal. Other than that, I have no complaints and am actually excited when it is time to vacuum. I love when Dyson has new products because you can always tell they are trying to be better and more efficient with everything they do!

is very good overall for dust hair and the light weight stuff , but not for pieces the side of a pill

7 years ago, we bought our house and painted the floors black. 6 months later, we adopted an adorable white puppy and our floors have been visibly fur covered ever since. I've had a corded Dyson Animal for about 20 years and it did ok with the area rugs, but was never great on the hard floor. This new cordless Dyson is more powerful, better on both the rugs and the hard floors, and it's a breeze to empty. Battery life is good and charging is quick. The vacuum is very maneuverable, power changes automatically depending on the surface you need vacuumed, and it's so conveniently sized! It goes under the sofa nicely with it's full width, has wonderful attachments, and it does it all without a cord! The only thing that I wish it had is a light. Otherwise, I love it! I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a vacuum, and doubly recommend so for anyone with a pet needing a vacuum. It's just great.

Great product, however. I wish the battery would last longer... also I have had trouble charging the battery at times...

The first one I bought from Best Buy I got home and opened and it was used. There was hair and dirt in the canister. I bought it new, not open box. So I returned that day and got an actual new one. After using it several times, I came to find that my 3 year old Roomba seemed to pick up more than this did. Also, my wrist would get so sore and tired after vacuuming from having to support the canister and heavy battery. I didn’t want to get carpal tunnel for $800 so I returned it. I can see where it’s be great for steps, but beyond that, not thanks.

Both batteries charged according to the 4.5 hour minimum before use. Vacuum worked flawlessly for 10 minutes and died. Customer service via Dyson website concluded that it needed to be replaced. I returned it to BestBuy and purchased a second one. The second one has been working very well and so far I would give it at least a 4 -star rating. The accessory that should be included but is not is a flexible hose for certain hard to reach placed. It's a high cost to purchase for such a short life.

The elephant in the room here is obviously the price and I never thought I would come to the opinion that the price here is actually worth the value, but this vacuum is definitely worth the price you pay. There are a variety of vacuums and I`ve tried numerous brands over the years and this Dyson definitely stands far above the rest. The first thing to discuss is obviously how well the vacuum performs. This is where the vacuum starts to set itself apart as I have always been a fan of lightweight vacuums, but they never really felt like the most effective and I always found myself going back to the big full function vacuums to get those heavy carpet areas and area where my dogs sleep. This vacuum however is the perfect combination as it is both lightweight and has tackled everything that I have thrown at it. The ability for it to automatically distinguish between carpet and wood flooring is one of those little things that set this vacuum apart as I didn`t have to mess with flipping a switch every time I transitioned to a different surface. While going over each surface one other item I did not have to worry about was battery life as each time I swept all my floors (2200 sq feet) I did not have to worry about battery life at all. There are also so many additional little items to mention from the convenience of the LCD screen to the various additional tools and cleaning modes. The boost cleaning mode is one item I do want to make a note of as this was extremely helpful for one tough to get area where my dogs sleep. With this vacuum, it is not just focused on performance as the aesthetics and functionality are phenomenal as well and I truly think Dyson has thought of everything when it comes to function and form factor. The wall mounting of the vacuum is great, but the ability to also put additional tools on the wall mount is extremely convenient. The way you empty the bin with this vacuum is also extremely convenient as you don`t have to mess with even touching the dirt. Overall when it comes to technology I didn`t think I`d be as impressed with a vacuum as I am, but Dyson has done an amazing job with this vacuum. The performance, appearance, and various additional features make this vacuum really stand out and though the price may deter some I definitely would still really look at this vacuum as it is truly worth the price.

The roller continuously broke (3 times to be exact). Powerful vacuum but the roller part is made of non durable plastic.

So I have been using this everyday for a few months. The motor head broke. A replacement was shipped by Dyson but it was back ordered 6 weeks.

Mine never worked from the start. Did a warranty claim and they couldn’t send same one so they replaced with the lesser model…..:/

Piece of garbage .. they have really gone down Hill Dyson is crap
