This vacuum is excellent. Great battery life excellent power picks up fine dust pet hair works on hardwood floors and on carpet.

I have owned a Dyson DC15 for 16 years! I also own a shark which I bought 2 years ago. The shark is excellent for those under furniture spots and hardwood floors as I can detach the canister from the main head roller unit. But not so impressed with the shark capacity. This dyson v-11 was like opening multiple Christmas gifts. So many attachments. The assembly is super easy and so is the mounting of the baseplate and charging cord. The mounting bracket seems sturdy enough until you place the unit to charge then you begin to doubt its durability but works. There are 2 powered heads that have their own independent motors which are powered from the main battery. The main unit is quite a bit heavier than I expected because of the motor and battery weight. I wish they’d made the battery detachable so you can use it for longer periods of intensive cleaning. The unit has theres power settings of which the normal mode is adaptive to increase motor speed and power S it detects a different and more challenging surface such as when you transition from hardwood to carpet. Prolonged use (greater than 20 minutes could result in wrist /forearm pain due to the weight of the unit. It is very adequate for quick spots like cleaning stairs or animal hair balls/ dust bunnies. I have a dog and with her bouncing around the house I hate having to get out the full size vacuum for a 1-2 minute spot cleaning. The powered upholstery head and the powered main head are phenomenal for around the house quick upkeep. The only downside? I placed it on the highest operational cleaning setting and wore down the battery in about 10-15 minutes took all day to re-charge it. So, as long as you keep it to short periods of spot cleaning the unit does the job even when you feel it’s not (by looking into the waste bin) it literally sucks the dust out of the air! Many may think/feel it’s overpriced but for what you get and the tiny package it comes in, it’s decently priced if you care for it properly. Like I said, I have had my DC-15 for 16 years so that comes up to $40/yr.. and the quality and effectiveness is still strong!!

This vacuum rocks! Excellent battery life, does a great job for hardwood/smooth floors. Not the best for carpet...it is a little tough to push over carpets and probably has a little less power than a corded vacuum. But we have almost no carpet in our home so it works fantastic. This is our second one of this unit...we have one on both floors for convenience because we like it so much!

great for hardwood floors, especially dog hair. east to empty canister, and easy to clean. keeps a good charge.

Use just about 1 month, very easy to use, smart model. Good work, light weight.In my opinion little too expensive.

Easy on weight ans use, cable free let you clean whole house/car, super powerful, compare to a regular vacuum this one cleans everything

I was amazed by its strong suction from a super quiet motor. Love the design of cleaning the bin. I would say it worth the money.

Have had this for a little over a month. Fantastic so far. The suction and battery life is wonders above the V7 model. We have a Labrador so she is constantly shedding, so the larger container helps tremendously. Obviously these are pricey, but if it lasts as long as the CEO says (10+years) then it’s worth it. The V7 lasted about 4-5 years before the battery deteriorated.

This thing has more suction than my $900 Miele C3 Marin and doesn't require me to drag it out of the closet and plug it in. It's always just hanging there waiting. Admittedly, on high power you only get about 13 minutes worth of charge but that's really only needed for my thick wool area rug. Regular power is more than sufficient for most jobs. Also, all attachments except the power pet tool store easily on the mount or on the vacuum itself.

I love dyson everything. I have a small apartment and this works very well as an everyday vacuum. I have a large Shepard and he sheds like crazy so this is great to pop off the charged and do a quick vacuum. I have owned the larger animal with the cord and it works well too but I really love the fact that I don’t have to wind up the cord on the portable battery operated one. The canister is fairly small so the dog hair fills it up quickly but it you empty it after each use it’s not a big deal.

Great vaccum, suction is great, battery power is great as well. Easy to clean and easy to mount on the wall.

This is a great vacuum cleaner. I love the power it has, and it is very light in weight. It is a little expensive though.

This is my fourth Dyson, and second cordless Dyson. Ever since my first Dyson ball I have never looked back. With a Dyson you know it will be good quality and powerful. This V11 is a powerful handheld that can be used as a full-blown vacuum. I like the new LED display that shows you % charged when you plug it in and has a minute count down while you are Vacuuming. The only drawback is the expensive price. This is one case where I feel it is worth it to spend the extra to get a quality product.

I've owned several Dyson vacuums many years, this one is for my mother. I was pretty sceptical when buying this that it would be on par with my five year old corded Dyson but wow, this thing is next level. The suction from this is unbelievable. Battery life is far better than the cordless V6 I own and it's far easier to empty collection bin. I got this on sale as a purchase for my mother and now regret not getting myself one. I will be purchasing another one for myself when it come on sale again.

This vacuum has been amazing. I had new tile flooring installed in my entire house and it handles my whole house easily with energy left over when I'm done. I have a husky and a cat so always fur everywhere and I vacuum every other day. Light, easy to use and easy to empty and hook right back up to the charger. I have a rug under my dining room table and the transition is so easy. It doesn't choke on the rug at all.

I mean where do I even begin! This vacuum is obviously the real deal because it’s Dyson?! But, it is beyond my expectations. It picks up things on the floor inches away from the suction. The digital feature is the best thing ever. It tells you how much battery you have, when to change your filter, and adjusts to your floor type. If you’re debating because of price or whatever, just buy it! After how good it worked, I didn’t feel bad about this expensive purchase!

Love love love this vacuum! Love the battery instead of fighting with cords. Love the wall mount instead of taking up floor space. Love that the wall mount automatically charges it upon docking it. Love that you can see directly on the top how much time you have left on the battery as you're using it and that you can easily adjust the suction power with a simple press of a button. Powerful machine, picks up all the dust and dirt with ease. This is my first Dyson product to own but will not be the last!

Second Dyson vacuum - had the V8 before & this V11 is insane. The medium / auto mode is stronger than the V8 on max. The battery life is amazing - a major issue with the last one. I used to only get my main floor, now I get the whole house & have 5-10 minutes on power left. The screen / display is great too! Upgraded storage bin & is really easy to dump. Comes with a lot of accessories too. So worth the purchase - I’m continue to be amazed at the cleaning power / ability compared to my last Dyson.
