Bought this for the main floor of our house which is all hardwood floors and lugging around a big corded vacuum just became too much work for 15 minutes of vacuuming. This is easy to use, battery lasts a long time, love all the attachments (especially for stairs), and the suction adjustment comes in very handy. The only issue we have with it is that it will randomly turn off at times (not due to over suction or anything) and can take up to 30 seconds for it to come back on.

Its def neat to have all that power with very little weight. Dyson has a huge advantage over other companies like sharks stick vacuums which are awkward with all the weight on the top. The only real complaint sI had was how often I have to empty the dustbin. Funny thing is Dyson came out w the new v11 outsize right after my purchase. It made improvments on a few things including the dustbin capacity. Amazingly, I still had enough time to return this model since Bestbuy has the worst return policy ever!

This vacuum is amazing. The suction power, artery life and ease of operation make this one of the best and most convenient vacuums we have ever owned. It does have a hefty price tag, it remember, you get what you pay for!

I was not feeling so excited about the idea of a non-wired vacuum since I usually need a lot of power in order to keep my home clean from my cat's hair. This vacuum really has the necessary power I need and also comes with very useful items. Also the deposit is very easy to clean. I'd just say it's a little bit pricy.

Great suction for a cordless vacuum. Easy to mount on the wall anywhere in your house. It actually makes it so convenient that vacuuming is no longer a hassle and I find myself using it on a much more regular basis. Also very easy to dump the waste without getting dirty. Battery power is also great.

Could not believe how much suction this has. The first time I used it on an area rug I was amazed at all the dirt it pulled out. It is easy to use but I do find the accessories can be a little difficult to take off at times. I thought it was a bit pricey. Read all directions before using.

Great detects all dog hair my floored never felt cleaner

I bought this two months ago as a holiday gift for my wife and me. We live in a house with lots of pets (two dogs, three cats - all of them shed - one child still at home). We have carpet in the lower family room and usually use the Kenmore canister vacuum for the carpets. The rest of the house is wood and tile flooring. The wood flooring is mostly dark, so you can see the hair and all the crumbs on the floor all the time. We needed something easier to use rather than dragging the canister around the whole house. We have a frugal friend who bought a Dyson and was really happy with it, so I bought one too. It works really well. We use it mostly on the hard flooring and rugs. Even today, though, I used it on the carpet downstairs. The top portion of the vacuum is a little heavy - but that's where the motor is, so that seems normal. However, the stick is well balanced so it doesn't make my arm or wrist sore - or my wife's. The head of the machine swivels easily for cornering and the profile of the head is low enough that it can fit in nooks and crannies well for our house. We have not noticed any marks or scratches on our wood floors from the Dyson. It picks up a lot of junk and hair on our floors. I emptied the trap on the Dyson this morning. Then vacuumed the kitchen, 3/4's of the house actually, including some of the carpet and the collection trap was full again. Possibly the only improvement would be to include a light on the head of the vacuum to better see the floor. We haven't even come close to draining the battery. Even this morning doing a good portion of the house, I ran it for 20 minutes and the digital display said it had at least 20 more minutes left in the batter. We have it set at the middle power mode. So, I'm just letting you all know, that I avoided Dyson since they came to the market many years ago due to the premium price. But when we were ready for a cordless stick vacuum - we went for it, and so far so good.

With each new model the system improves. The V-11 Torque Drive is powerful, automatically adjusts to various surfaces, and has the legendary Dyson suction. Easy to use, powerful, and up to date. It is used in our home daily. Our family highly recommends the Dyson-V11 Torque Drive Cor-Free Vacuum.

We purchased this as a replacement to another Dyson that we had. The vacuum best qualities are it is cordless and fairly light. The downsides that I have seen is the canister is very small and needs to be emptied often, it is not meant for a larger home, and it does take time for it to recharge.

Picks up more dust than our old plug in. Light but very powerful. I wish it had a constant ON button or lock mechanism so you don't always have to hold down the trigger to work it.

I’ve been a skeptic about cordless vacuums and really doing a lot of research and watching YouTube video reviews on cordless vacuum wars for quite awhile. So I finally decided to go for it and purchased the Dyson V11 Torque when I found it listed in Best Buy’s Deal of the Day. Got it home, did a complete charge as specified. The suction was incredibly powerful from the modest eco for light dusting and hard floors to the intense boost mode setting which is impressively powerful! All the attachments that come with this model are well made and purposeful for this machine. Since using the V11, I’ve yet to use my old Dyson DC28 Animal. An added bonus, I did not realize the V11 Blue Torque version, “like the V11 Outsize” has the detachable lithium battery pack option and is not fixed to the vacuum. Now I can buy additional battery packs and rotate them out for longer intense cleaning if needed.

This is my first Dyson purchase and first cordless vacuum purchase. I am very impressed with the great suction capability and battery life. The only thing I don't like is who quickly the canister fills up with dust and dirt and it can be top heavy.

As a previous Dyson v8 User, I always loved the portability and lightweight design of my Dyson. I really had no major complaints from the V8 other than boost mode only lasted 10min and really didn’t perform as strong as my plug in Vacuum, Not a bad trade off due the amazing convenience. After watching a few Videos demonstrating the improvements this newest model had, I always wanted one but at a steep $699 originally had me patiently waiting for some discount. Right after Black Friday this v11 dropped a couple hundred dollars and I quickly moved in. All I can say it’s better than the v8 in every regard. It picks up stuff the v8 missed on boost. Boost works 15+min on avg. LCD displays the current charge % and time remaining. It is slightly heavier than my v8, I’d say about 50% more, in a way I do like the heavier v11 as it seems to keep connected to the ground more. I would recommend this vacuum for anyone that wants the power of a plug in vacuum.

If you’ve had a Dyson before, this thing performs as well or better. Don’t mind those reviews complaining about trigger fatigue - this thing is for spot cleaning, not whole house vacuuming! Use an actual heavy duty corded Dyson ball for vacuuming 2k+ sq feet! The only catch is the small bin. It’s smaller than you’d expect and can fill up too easily if you have a rug. I use this to vacuum under the dining table as I have hard wood floors with a rug under the table. I also use it to vacuum the car. The cordless is super convenient for that. Super strong and quality Dyson, battery life is decent, and can’t beat the convenience. Solid buy esp on sale.

This thing has some POWER! We have a Dyson ball vacuum, we used it first then followed up with this beast and it was amazing how much it picked up after our ball vacuum. Throw it into eco mode for the hardwood floors and it makes this the perfect all around vacuum.

Lightweight easy to use n carry all over the house great suction simple too hook up and use which also has multiple options and different ways to use the vacuum around the house furniture walls vents n cars etc.... all around Dyson has another great invention!

Mom of one year old twins and a Bernese Mountain Dog, this is the best purchase I’ve ever made. Extremely convenient, easy to use maintains power long enough to clean all the messes and adjusts on its own for carpet or hard wood. It’s a life saver!

This is a great portable vacuum. It is very easy to use and picks up dirt very well. The battery lasts a long time but it takes a good while to charge. My wife and I love this vacuum.

I couldn't find the latest Dyson so I purchased this one but I am very happy with it. It is very easy to use, has a long battery life and sweeps very well, goes under furniture easily.
