I was looking for a lighter weight cordless vac, esp for stairs. This vac has great suction and picks up dirt I didn't know I had! It also comes with attachments for other jobs, i.e.ty hand vac for cars. I recommend this vacuum for anyone looking for great suction and simple cleaning. Easy to grab (wall mount with charger). Easy to empty. Moves easy on floor and carpet. The only con for some, would be it is a bit heavy for the hand, as one has to pull a lever and push/pull with one hand. Otherwise, no other complaints.

This is my second Dyson, they are the most convenient vacuum's on the market. The first Dyson still works! I wanted the increased power and quieter motor.

Plenty of battery life unless you use boost, which is not necessary. The auto setting is plenty strong to do the job with plenty of battery life.

This vacuum has really great suction, The power heads work really well. I wish the dirt cup was bigger to hold all the fine dirt it picks up

The Dyson is easy to use and carry from place to place with the cordless feature. It is great for pet owners and collects hair, dust and trash on any floor type from carpet to hardwood. I have tried a lot of brands of vacuums and the Dyson is by far the best.

Love the assembly, easy handling and quiet motor. Reaches far under furniture. Excellent edge cleaning. Not too hard on the carpet but cleans well!

This product does it all. Carpet, wood floors, tile etc. I even use it to clean car, ceiling fan blades, baseboards. Well worth the money

This is the most powerful vacuum I have ever had. Picked up dog hair with ease and transitioning between hard wood carpet and tile was seamless.

Great vacuum cleaner. Can't beat the cordless feature. Even our daughter enjoys to vacuum now. It does great taking the pet hair off the couch.

We upgraded from a V7 and the difference is amazing. Love that it changes suction power when going from hardwood to carpeting.
