I upgraded from an Animal model and find some improvements in this model but some things I liked better about the Animal model. I like that it can change the power level automatically in order to avoid using the battery up sooner than necessary. I can definitely get more time out of the battery than on the old one. The downsides are that it is much more cumbersome to empty the bin because you have to take off the stick part first. Also, I seem to struggle more with the attachments. If I could do it again, I would probably buy the top Animal model instead of this one.

Great product. It’s really easy to use. No more lugging a heavy vacuum around the house. No more tripping over cords. Love it!

We had the V7 animal and upgraded to the V11. More power and versatility. Passed the V7 to a family member to get them hooked.

Man. I love this vacuum. People around me always raved about their Dyson vacuum (we have boring lives). I didn't believe the hype. Until now. This thing is a game changer. Here's why. The V11 hasn't changed much in design from the V10. You still have the point and shoot emptying of the dust bin. It looks sleek especially with that nickel and blue look. The finger trigger. I just really like the design. It also comes with a LCD screen that displays battery life in real time. It's freaking nice. You can also change cleaning modes (Eco, Auto, or Boost). Auto is what they recommend. Boost is if you need some super powerful suction. This thing cleans like a monster. Bear in mind, that I vacuum the floor often. I just gave the vacuum a test run through my carpet. I had no idea there was that much dust in there...This thing's suction is off the chart. It beats all of the wall-plug vacuums that I have. The torque drive also is different from the V10 Absolute in that there is only one cleaning head and no soft roller head for hardwood which may be disappointing to some. They compensate by having advanced floor sensing technology to adjust the brushroll based on the type of floor. It takes about 4 hours to charge up the whole thing after it's out of battery. One charge will run you about 60 minutes on hardwood on Auto function. My only criticism of this machine is the trigger. I actually don't mind the trigger too much. It turns on with the slightest of pressure. However, I really wish they would have an on switch. My grandma tried using this vacuum and her arthritis really made it difficult for her. Other than that, this vacuum is a monster.

this works great. I have 3 big dogs and have clumps of dog hair all over the place. I just grab this and make a quick run though the house and get them all. There are two things that I would like to see changed though. 1. the "Hair" collector is a little small. I have to empty it 2 to 3 times on my run though the house. 2. there is a sound this thing makes when you let off the button that is irritating. other than that I would not hastate to buy again.

Great vacuum with an amazing suction. I recommend buying an additional filter for convenience.

Does everything the ads say it does. Well worth the extra $$$ over brands we’ve had in the past.

I had a Dyson V8 that performed reliably for past 2 years since I got it during the Black Friday sale of 2017. However, it was a kind of pain to switch the tools back and forth to use it on both hardwood and the carpet. V11’s enhanced powerful motor and an outstanding automatic mode allows me to use it on both hardwood and carpet seemingly. I’m very impressed with this product and while the price is in the higher end, I still would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a great Dyson vacuum.

I have used a Kirby vacuum for 11 years and was so surprised by what this Dyson picked up, I vacuumed my hall with my Kirby vacuum then revacuumed with the Dyson and I could hardly believe how much it picked up! Very mixed emotions....tickled about my purchase of such a good machine (I got it on sale btw) but ashamed of all the dirt that has been behind by my very expensive Kirby. Button must be pressed while you vacuum so that takes a bit to get used to.

Everything is clean now. This is awesome vacuum machine and V11 have more battery than my old V8.

Yes his is a great vacuum for quick pick up cleaning job. I really do like the Dyson products.
