I purchased this not long ago because I have 2 large dogs and wooden floors. I was told this was top of the line, so I went for it. My sister said get a SHARK. I said no, I'll spend the extra money. The vacuum has a very small fill capacity, which is okay. The problem is there is a small hole in the side of the handle that gets blocked. I've only had it a few months and I'm not happy.

Lots of power, long battery charge, lightweight, easy to empty. This has significantly decreased my vacuum time - I can easily and quickly use it all over the house without having to lug out my canister, plug and unplug multiple times. Great to use in SUV to reach the tight spots. Highly recommend.

I bought this as a gift for someone and so far they really love and enjoy the gift! Great purchase!

I use it once every week to clean my house, mainly for cleaning my cat’s hair. It works perfectly for any types of the surface. It vacuums litter sands, hair completely. The only downside could be it is a bit heavy if you hold it too long. But this is ok to me since it does the work nicely!

Great vacuum. I like the automatic speed adjustment, so the owner does not have to manually adjust the suction. I appreciated the ability to mount the charging unit on the wall. For the price , I wish that the unit would have come with an additional fixture or container to keep the various accessories. The unit hold 4 out of the 6 accessories.

I bought this to replace my heavy Kirby. This lightweight machine made me question the cleaning I had been doing. I vacuumed the rugs I had cleaned two days prior with my old cleaner and what was in the canister made me cringe. There was so much dirt. Thank you dyson.

Why I didn’t buy this earlier I will never know. This is the greatest thing since sliced bread. So great for the car!!!! But I bought it bc I have pet hair everywhere and this keeps it nice and tidy. I’m not sure why you wouldn’t buy it. I hate to vacuum but this makes me reach for it often.

Worth the money!! I used my Hoover and went back over the carpet with this Dyson. I had to empty the Dyson several times with stuff my other vaccum left behind. I really found it disturbing how much dust and dog hair had been left behind for years! Highly recommend.

Presentation The Dyson - V11 Torque Drive is packaged in a diminutive box with clear instructions on how to assemble and operate. Having owned a V7 and the V10 for several years, this unit feels just as solid as any Dyson product we’ve owned but with one major caveat… this design is a major step forward on the cord-free front. Initial Setup Setup was quick, simple and straightforward. Assembling the few components of the system required little effort and went together firmly. The unit comes with an internal battery pack that is rated to run up to 1 full hour on the lowest or automatic power settings. If there is an Achilles heel to Dyson stick products it is the mere fact that the batteries are concealed and non-removable. Assembly took less than 5 minutes and we proceeded to top off the battery. This system comes with a full array of attachments which should please most owners. It is a full featured vacuum. The color palette is also pleasing and very modern. The design changes to the filtration system are also a welcomed improvement. Some will notice the added weight straight away but considering the bump in power, it’s to be expected and there’s no impact on maneuverability or use. Performance The controls and display on the handle are easy to read and easy to use. The display is a big & bright, the one-touch control button intuitive to use and the remaining run-time gauge is a welcomed & valuable advancement. No more guessing as to “what’s left in the tank …”. At its lowest speed, Eco Mode, this unit is whisper quiet and still does an excellent job of cleaning hardwood floors, runners and area rugs. For carpeted areas in our home, we found ourselves sticking with the medium speed. Frankly speaking, we’ve not found any reason to drive this cord-less Dyson at its highest speed. But compared to the V10, the high-speed sound of the V11 is smoother and more pleasant. Our biggest traffic area is a 12 x 9 area run in our great room and when we retraced our cleaning efforts after first using our trusty V10 we were surprised to find that the V11 extracted another 1/3 of dust bin capacity – on the lowest speed setting (due to the density of the pile). That was proof enough to us that this new model was vastly improved over its predecessors – where it counts most – extraction. Whatever the improvements were – the increased suction or improvement in the cleaning head – they all add up to a huge bump in performance. Summary The V11 demonstrates a major advancement across all Dyson design points. On a large 12 x 9 area rug, this vacuum picked up a significant amount of dust, dander and dirt left behind by our V10. Truly amazing. Pros: Ease of setup. Extremely quiet at the lowest speed and much quieter at high speed vs. the V10 line. Does an excellent job of cleaning, compared to the previous generation – even at the lowest setting. Plenty of reserve battery power and a run time gauge that is second to none. Excellent balance and comfortable to use, even with the added battery weight. Larger capacity dust bin that is easier to empty. Cons: Non-removable battery tech. We cannot recommend this product enough – even at the full retail price. It’s just that good.

Absolutely love! This is my second Dyson and the only complaint I have is that I wish the smell from my dogs wouldn’t get trapped in the vacuum. I clean the filters often but there is always dog smell released when using.

The movers have delayed delivery of my stuff for two months- a nightmare! There were a few things I HAD to replace while I waited. My Dyson was one of them. Pricey but totally worth it! Could not give a higher recommendation and love this!!!

Good but a little on the pricey side for a vacuum ! Hopefully it lasts and works for a while

A good vacuum cleaner, could stand some engineering design improvements. specifically, there should be a trigger hold when working rather than having to hold the activation part. Also, the battery should have longer life duration. But good unit anyway.

This is an amazing vaccum, extremely handy especially with kids. Very well built. The new V11 has a display screen which is nice as well to switch between different speed settings. Overall amazing product.

Good for carpet and wood floor cleaning. I got this a couple days back and it works great.

The best vacuum I ever had. It has a battery charge for about an hour. This is more than enough to vacuum mu one store house. It collects more dust that my "old" (just one year old) Shark. Two years warranty is a big plus

Although the vacuum is awesome and lightweight, the base tends to put strain on your wrists.

Great product customer service excellent. Ran into an issue where auto power surge was not coming on when switch surface types. Call Dyson CS explained problem and they sent new vacuum head out with in 2 days no questions asked!
