I gave it 2 stars since it did proved to be a versatile vacuum and did well on both hard floors and carpet. Another bonus was that eco mode had plenty of suction for my carpet and gave me an hour of operation time. Fit and finish is great and product looks premium. The bad part is that it died 2 weeks later. The indicator comes on and you can change modes, but it doesn't vacuum when the trigger is pulled. I'm returning it today and not sure if I'll get another. Not what I expected from a $700 vacuum, especially since its priced much higher than the competition.

Good product. Works well. Had a previous model that broke. Went with newer model.

Works great on multiple surfaces and much easier to empty the bin with the new design.

I’ve owned 3 Dyson vacuums. This is far the best one. New technology, new design. What I like the best is the fact I dont have to switch the cleaners. The vacuum automatically knows when is bare floor or carpet. Also the LCD screen helps. Great vacuum.

The vacuum arrived in a timely manner an works great. I've purchased several Dayson products from Best Buy and have not been disappointed with any of the items purchased.

Not great for pet hair. Cannister fills in 2 minutes or less and stops until you empty the cannister. Pet hair can also clog tube where it connects to cannister so it doesn't even make it to the cannister. Very frustrating. Works ok on hard surfaces but doesn't pick up fur tufts without lifting up the device and it doesn't do well on edges.

My husband and I just love this. We have lots of marble flooring that gets leaves, dirt, etc. from the outside. Cleaning the floor is no longer a chore. Empty's easily. and let's you know the charge that is left. All and all awesome.

Be ready for a work out it’s really power full only downfall the battery don’t last long

This is the 6th Dyson handheld we have purchased. Why do we keep purchasing - there aren't really a lot of other options and we keep hoping they will get better. If this unit is on the HIGH power setting the suction is great. The problem is - on the highest setting the battery only lasts 7 to 9 minutes. On the recommended medium setting the battery lasts much longer but the suction is not nearly as good - not even close. Don't even bother with the lowest setting - you might as well use a broom and dust pan. All our other Dyson handhelds already need new batteries (and we don't use them daily) and at the Dyson replacement cost of a battery - might as well purchase a new vacuum (which is why we have gone through so many). Dyson makes awesome plug in vacuums but the handhelds are not worth the price paid...not even close.

My wife loves this vacuum. She had the old Dyson that you had to pull around. This one is easy to use and battery powered. Also no bags to change out. I purchased it on sale during BB's Black Friday sale and save a lot of money.

Outstanding product ! This is my latest Dyson purchase and second vacum cleaner. Dyson customer service is unparalleled . Likewise their customer support is second to none!My Dyson vacuum is incredible in every way!

This is an exceptional vacuum. It is strong, light, versatile, and worth the money compared to a corded Dyson. The only issue I would have with the product is the battery life. I wish that you could use the vacuum longer on a full charge.

It is so light,easy to use and maneuver. With the variety of settings I am able to vacuum everywhere, even in my minivan. Sleek design is stylish and trendy. Space saver! Definite buy for any one whose tired of sweeping. It picks everything up.

Just a great vacuum cleaner, some complain about the price, I think it’s worth it, for it saves you time and effort, you don’t have move furniture goes right under your bed and most furniture! Thanks dyson for making my life simpler!

The cordless vacuum cleaner is excellent. The suction is very powerful, lasts a long time and easy to use. The attachments are easily exchangeable and easy to dump the dirt from the chamber housing. Highly recommended!

It doesn’t pick up crumbs, Christmas tree needles or diced items on the floor. When it does it ends up in another room. Sometime you have to go over and over to pick Up several times. I have issues changing the different accessories. The accessories don’t come off easy snd hard to change. When using the machine it shuts off on area rugs.

Used this vacuum daily and it works great. We also have a pet and the house we moved into had pets as well. This picks up dog hair really well from carpets. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cordless vacuum!

Purchased for a family member, and the vacuum has been well used since purchase - it is quality and makes spot cleaning much simpler than a regular vacuum

Finally have our first Dyson! This is the perfect vacuum for our home. We use it on two levels of our home across tile, wood and carpet. The auto setting senses the different floors and adjusts accordingly.
